Can I try Waves now, where can I download the client?
they do have github release try that. I think they said the wallet after ico ends is browser based so it makes no difference what OS you are on. Just install lite wallet in your browser and good to go. This was smart and less point of failure.
50,000 people tried to connect to browser LISK wallet and it crashed really? so this is the reason? 50k people crashed it ? so they were targetting this token for what ? like 10 people ? Seriously ? After a 15k BTC ICO and all the hype they were not expecting people in the thousands to connect ? And to think they want to be on par with Ether and Bitcoin, when they can't provide a service for 50k people. do you think bitcoin wouldn't crash if 50,000 people connect to it first day? come on, cut the crap.

one thing i learned from the crypto coins, you MUST have patience , other wise your not suitable for crypto world. so if you have invest it , be patience and wait it out Indeed. I just bought a bit more; gonna ride with this one for a while. A crying shame that I wasn't as active during the 20% ICO rewards. so your body is ready to : as i am Haha, no doubt!

Wow! another good investment day for the waves. I think the remaining days before the ICO there will be a lot of whales who will invest. I am even optimistic that the total investment will reach up to 15,000 BTC, I hope I can find more money to add my investment as I don't want to miss this opportunity that only happens once in a lifetime. TBH, this is my first time on investing an altcoins and I hope we will succeed.

its an easy cash so we can't force these users to dump thier waves in the first day of release but i hope the team can come up with a possible solution for this. maybe concidering the distribution of waves to be limited to certain amount only.

A speculation at this point is that there were 3900 investors in Lisk who wanted to get their tokens. The rest of the 50 000 are believed to be part of some DDOS to the Lisk web wallets. The users who got there tokens early made a nice profit while the rest of us couldn't even login. https://t.co/xP14eSYKSv is a tweet from Tai Zen giving a shorter description of what happened during the Lisk launch. It's something that Waves will need to address so we avoid the same problems.

@mxxxxxx
I want to alert you that if an exchange open up Waves trading at around the same time Wave tokens going to be available for transfer there is a very high chance some jackasses who have also invested in Waves will try to DDOS your web. They will probably set up a wallet themselves which is technical stuff the average person can't do and then DDOS the site to roadblock others from getting their Waves so that they can sell themselves. I believe this happened to Lisk and devs didn't thought of that, even until now some windows users aren't able to get their Lisk which is very amateurish from the devs.

Bitcoin developpers didn't have the $6 million ICO and many previous similar projects before them to show them the road and yet they managed to get things done. They claim to have experinece in doing tjhings but they didn't have any clue on how to launch their main net correctly, let alone they didn't make a Mac or Windows wallet, too many shortcomings on the Lisk project, only hype and the Yobit prelaunch trading made things even worse.

While I like to know how this ICO ends, I hope WAVES could really address it as those users who missed the Lisk train will be riding the WAVES this time. They definitely wanna cover their loss!

I sincerely hope that the waves project will be much more successful than Lisk. I am sure that waves team will rent or buy enough new and fast servers which will withstand heavy traffic during the first days. Also working from the first day wallets for the most popular platforms PC, mac, Linux will be good idea.

Check out this post I just found in the lisk thread. Scary shit! Coolest thing I've saw yet on the Web wallet.
I logged into my account... But it flickered between mine and someone elses account, then it settled on someone elses account..
I Have send all LISK in that account... 11,273 to Polo... I'm waiting for confirmations.
If this works, Wow. I feel bad from whoever i robbed, but wow, that is a serious issue.
I currently can see all transactions they have made, and to which account. just wow. This is what we invested in on, such a buggy web wallet.
Again if this works, i'm going to spend all day trying to replacate it and rob any wallet i gain access to..
Friendly reminder: I logged into my account, but it logged me into someone else account on accident. Dont hold me accountable for the web wallet bug dissaster..

Hi, WAVES ICO is scheduled in this way: 1) Apr, 12, first day => 20% bonus; 2) Apr, 13 to Apr, 30 => 10% bonus; 3) May, 1 to May, 15 => 5% bonus; 4) May 31, end of ICO.
Does anyone know the amount of BTCs collected at the end of the first three periods?
Thanks!

Yes because 3xtimes (atleast) profit is a bad invesment right.. If people know actually something about this technology, they can simply download binaries, open config file and use one of five official nodes who works since start perfectly.... But yeah, thats just too hard i guess.

Hi , it's my first post on bitcointalk...!! i used only t read hehe so as a waves fan...i have to say...ppl do not start to sale your waves when you get them ..i would suggest to those that don't need the money urgent , keep wave's as the development will be fast ..and there will be x10 profits later!! DON'T EXPECT BIG PROFIT'S AT LUNCH ..best case i think price will go x2 ...if you want do dump ..be my guest....

What about a good old fashion desktop wallet? These web wallets are super unsafe.
Going to buy some waves from my lisk profits, looking forward to x3 returns. Cha Ching.

Lisk devs screwed up big time, they don't seem much experienced.
WAVES take note ... have web wallet working at launch Yeah right ? The Lisk lauch is turning into the Star Wars Galaxies launch of cryptos Lemme just say that...it was an adventure.
