Thats just an announcement. What actual safeguards have you put in place to prevent that from happening. I like to see 'action' more so than words (i.e announcement)

I have tried so many time with no success, they missed the launch for sure but x3 the Ico price so pretty cool.

On one hand I'm partly mad and frustrated that the Lisk launched went south. However, on the other, with a little time to think it all over, I'm partly glad that we all can learn from that launch and ensure that Waves doesn't find itself in the same spot. There are likely to be people sending a flood of data to the Waves servers in hopes of accomplishing something similar to what happened to Lisk. At least now we have a week to mitigate those risks and strengthen up the infrastructure in time before the Waves launch.

We didn’t setup a proper anti-DDoS strategy with a specialised team.
We didn’t have the docker container ready at launch time. We configured the network the whole day and we unfortunately ran out of time.

From what I've read it sounds like it will be tradable at some exchange right after, or soon after the ICO is finished.  Not the actual waves tokens, but tokens that will be exchanged 1:1 with waves once it is released late summer.

No doubt the poor LISK launch is a blessing in disguise, I wouldn't be surprised if the same assholes role their funds into WAVES and try to rinse and repeat.

Poloniex would be fools not to get market % first. My guess is within week of ico ending or sooner. You can usually count on exchanges greed to fuel a fast listing.
