They do, you just don't see what's going on behind the scenes, Waves doesn't need Poloniex to be successful, that's like saying Tidex won't be a success, because, Poloniex.

It just makes zero sense in the long run.

It's called not giving a fuck about the day to day price, although I would like to see the price supported by a buy wall at 35K, I have evaluated things and I'm confident things are going to end well given the company Sasha has been keeping lately, obviously huge things are in the pipeline.

If we're still here in another 6 months I'll be pissed off, but as we all know these things usually shoot up within a month or two then it never returns to baseline, it's also very difficult to find autists to develop this tech, it's why nobody else has done it yet, so until it does shoot up keep stacking those WCTs while noobs are giving them away for basically free because cream rises to the top and they are the creamiest cream that ever creamed.

From what I understand Waves are focusing on businesses first as they develop the product, and once it's actually ready there will be a huge propaganda campaign, that said, it needs a buy wall and Sasha's a Muppet for not putting one in, and I think he needs a better PR team and a board of directors that includes some big names from big businesses that have the connections the foresight and the vision to carry it into the mainstream in the West.

He needs to split his team, he needs a Silicon Valley office for PR and recruitment etc, no doubt about it, same with an office in Zurich, he needs to push its integration into companies like Microsoft (which he has been doing) and hopefully things will all come together in due course.

If he wants someone to work to push Waves to real world punters I'd be happy to oblige but I ain't doing shit for free!

Part of the reason why I think he can afford to support the buy wall at ico price is because of the profit that waves team made after the donation. During waves ico, btc price is about half of its current value now. In other word, we would have been much better holding off to our initial btc than investing into waves.

hopefully, the team will wake up and start to have actual products than distributing internal tokens.

He might be doing you a favour by not putting a buy wall up. A buy wall is only going to encourage those with weak hands to sell but if progress goes how its supposed to then the price is going to sky past ico prices. Its sligthly annoying that people who never participated in ico can get in cheaper but its a win win for everyone as long as progress is made.

the wBTC buy wall is used for exchanging the wBTC you've received. Sasha earned 35 + 10 BTC for the WCT holders by selling byteball. so that wBTC/BTC buy wall is actually the BTC's he earned for the community. It's used as a gateway atm.

This way you can use the platform to send and receive the tokens, which will be backed by multiple exchanges and gateways. later with DEX you can easily trade between the assets, BTC and Fiat. which will be all on the blockchain, which is decentralized, so no mt.gox stuff. The tx speed is scalable, it's capped atm.

I think after NXT  and Ethereum, waves should take the thrid position of having good project listed on the platform but it seems the market is getting getting crowded with Wings coming on stage and I saw one Korean project today, they too are coming into this market, though competition is good for the space and I think Waves has edge because the project is well capitalised
