Why do you have Chinese traditional religion but you don't have a Japanese Shinto? It's a very nice religion full of myths, stories that focuses on spirituality. It also doesn't force you to do anything, like Christianity and Islam do. You don't have to go to church every sunday or pray facing Mekka  But really no religion is best, an educated person doesn't need to rely on gods to help him live his life. Shinto has been there the entire time... Other - Ethnic (African, Sikhism, Celtic, Germanic paganism, Shinto, etc) - 3 (1.7%) |

I think you have not a religion. Any religion based on belief in one or more deities. You are just a club of people United by a common idea. It is not a religion. At least I think so. |

I believe having a poll like this is inappropriate. It may cause different believers to fight for their loved-religion. It may start a word war. That's why I didn't vote. I just hope we live by faith, and not by who is the best!

I don't like any religion. All that is built on deception can not be good. And I disagree that anyone but the Muslims are now ready to war for the faith. I am sure that if the Muslims get a good education and will have enough for money they will become less aggressive. |

To live means to have religion in some form. One can't have a meaningful relationship with other people without religion. One can't make decisions in life without personal religion. To not have religion is to be like the animals... subject to instinct, whereby complex programming makes one act the way he does. |

I don't believe in God. I'm an atheist. But I think that at this point the most humane religion is Buddhism. It teaches man to know himself and to seek solution to the problems in the first place myself. Yes, and I have not heard of violence from Buddhists.

for me the best religion is christian but were all right here..being christianity is the best who gave so much love to the world, Christian because I am one, even though we're all right here.I believe in God because here is only one God and his miracle works. He is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe.As a christian,respect to other peaceful religions ..

For me, none. Religion is just there - it divides people with beliefs. If, you really believe in god, then it's still okay for you to not have a religion. As for me, I don't have a religion and... I don't believe that there is an almighty one. Anyway, that's just me talking.

Since you mentioned religion, I chose Buddhism. I just find it less dogmatic then the Abrahamic religions and most of their sects are non-violent, for example Zen.
Still, IMHO no religion is best. Of course the disappearance of religion would not be enough to ensure worlds peace but at least we are not arguing about things that can neither be proven nor disproven.
I'd take racism over religious intolerance any time. When a racist argue that some groups of humans are "less evolved" or have lower IQ, etc, you can slap them with data.

Don't believe in religion but believe in humanity as you will find good and bad people in all the religion but people will differ from each other as I have many friends from different religion but religion has never been barrier when it comes to an friendship.

I don't believe taht there is a "best religion" but I believe that a good religion is the one who instills good teachings about one another and for the better good of the entire humanity. It doesn't matter what religion do you belong as long as your religion influence you for the better.

Well i agree with you there brother. Though i think the problem really is not with the religion itself but with some people's twisted interpretation of their religion. I mean, i think all religions instill good teachings that will benefit all men. Its just that some tend to take these teachings wrongly at the same time influence others that their interpretation is the right one |
