Hmm... How much coins will be create? Best Regards Christian
A fixed supply of 5,000,000 elastic coins. Unsold coins will be distributed among investors given the weight of their own stashes. For example I buy 750k elastic and you buy 250k during the ICO. 3,5M is unsold. I will get an additional 75% of the unsold (2.62M) while you will get an additional 25% (870k).

Hi everybody,
I just came back from my short trip. Although I had no internet connection, I have spent plenty of time implementing our idea of a PoS mini-blockchain. First of all I need some rest as it's been a long flight.
I will summarize everything by tomorrow including new screenshots and a new update to the git repository. For now, I will just catch up with the thread and what has been written here.

Do you guys have a Slack?
+1 I agree that we need a Slack quickly. If nobody already did, I will write Lannister a PM right now, asking if he can setup one for us in the next days.

I just make a donation from blockchain.info wallet. Why my public key does not match btc_tx from genesis block please Thanks,
Sam, sometimes you send BTC and they, behind the scenes, come from many different addresses (for example from multiple change addresses). You would need the private key to the public key of the first address (the address behind the first input of your transaction). Do you have a transaction id? I am sure I or someone else here can explain everything to you pretty quickly and guide you through.

I agree that the formula (to calculate the own ELC reward) on the website is way too formal for the average joe who is interested to support this project. We need something much easier to use and to understand. Maybe someone of you guys can fork the website's git and add a "calculator" where people can actually see how many ELC they would get for their donation? Maybe something easy to use with a slider or so? It should not be that hard, also maybe Lannister can do it himself? I will send him this suggestion in a PM, and ask if he could do it near-term.

What we have now is a working "Mini-Blockchain" based coin implementation that works with Proof-of-Stake. This is something that has not been there before and a novelty on its own. By "we" I mean everyone who contributes. I am also just a voluntary developer, just as anybody else who contributes to this project. Currently we are using a basic NXT based PoS scheme, but we have a new PoS scheme in the pipeline ... you probably saw the discussions here in the thread. However, we are right now focussing on the internals first before polishing the GUI, but a few pages before there were a few screenshots demonstrating how the software works. They are more technical though. For simplicity, we have currently used the Bitcoin GUI and will change that in the end. I am sure the community will come up with some nice-to-see GUI wallet variants. However, the nicest GUI is worthless if the magic under the hood is not perfect. Precisely: The next steps will be to implement the new, alternative PoS scheme in a git branch and parallelly start implementing the "verifiable computation" component for the decentralized computational resource market (which is the central aspect of the coin and the hardest challenge imho). I am sure that everyone who contributes to the development will keep everyone else updated here, I will post a big update (also, with screenshots) from my side in the next few days.

Okay, that sound is good. I think the gui isn't important. But "implementing the verifiable computation" that has potentcial.

Your anser is in the graph, if you are not very good with math you can try to use some math software and calc it quite fast, but i think about 7300 coins per btc right now
