Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Is anyone planning to start a supernode hosting service? I have enough coins but not the skills or hardware, happy to do a revenue sharing deal.

Call me a bit too negative - but i don't think that someone would get up with this because if the supernode fails your coins are gone and i guess you don't want that to happen - but the 'SN-Administrator' which got the hardware and 'skills' wouln't take risk to compensate you that much - if he said so we would have a big usecase for a smartcontract maybe (yeah - i never had, until now, an real-life-fully-automatisationable-usecase for such a contract without ANY third party confirming it  ) in ETH Maybe such a process could get implemented in the future: Admin of the node sends the compensating amount to a locked adress (if you don't accept the amount it would be charged back a week later) - if you accept the contract - the amount would ne locked for a predefined time if the node fails (not reachable for x seconds or something like this) you get this amont - otherwise the admin would get a Full chargeback after the predefined time. I meant: For now you could use eth - later such a function could get implemented. There may not be a viable case for a non tech guy like myself trying to generate some income from a SN, but it's a nice idea to explore none the less. If it were possible to lease coins to another account like NXT then hack risk is mitigated, and if a long standing community member with good rep ran a pool then probably no need for complications from smart contracts etc. NXT has a forging pool based on leased balances, and it's worked well, and allowed smaller holders and non tech people to still contribute, which is good imo. |

Hi, I Cross-compiling Elastic Miner for Windows from Linux and refer with https://github.com/sgminer-dev/sgminer/blob/master/doc/windows-build.txt . When I execute CPPFLAGS="-I`pwd`/../../win32/include" LDFLAGS="-L`pwd`/../../win32/lib -lcurldll" ../autogen.sh --prefix=/usr/local/i586-mingw32 --host=i586-mingw32msvc --build=i686-linux ， terminal show me bash: ../autogen.sh: no such file or directory . How can I fix this? |

How can I fix this? The miner uses cmake. You need to follow the instructions on the github to build the miner. The sgminer instructions were just to show you how to install mingw and it's packages. |

Little Michael came to our (crypto driven) world. I don't know why but I felt I need to share this with you all guys! Happy XEL and new life! I know this is big offtop but I thought it's big news for all of us that new crypto-sick child is aware of the world . News from my own perspective: I'm working on XEL PR website. I hope I'll deliver it soon. It will be not CMS but all source will be on github/bitbucket. So anyone who want to update content will have free will (pull requests). Full open source. Just short update from me. I'm 24h on foot without sleep. I'm going to bed. Good night for all XEL freaks. |
