I find it interesting that here in Canada we are creating a new bill with the Queen on it. When she dies we will have to replace all of the currency again,seems like a waste of money to create a new bill right before she kicks it.

Think the argument should be do you believe you are a slave? We go to school,we get a job,we retire if we are lucky,we die!

Maybe you hate the fiat but you are 'forced' to use it every day because others do not accept bitcoins, hate or love fiat you will use it for a long time. I use both fiat and bitcoin depending on the deal and depending on the seller or buyer if accepts bitcoin or not.

I use fiat just to get through the day, and buy what I can buy or can't be bothered to buy with Bitcoin.

Truthfully, I would rather break off from the current system and start my own country simply because of the instability of fiat. Build it around cryptos. Make sure that there is more to people's lives other than being stuck in an everlasting loop of debt.

I don't really believe into fiat like I do with Bitcoin, especially now that the Euro is getting shittier year after year, but I just need it to pay my bills and daily needs. Also, my retirement account is also fiat related. There is no way I can possibly change that.

The government does not accept bitcoin as a form of payment. And I don't believe they ever will because of legality reasons.

Has an ex-forex-trader i may say that fiat sucks,the banks act when they wanna the market can be loosing 5% when banks comes they make that into 3% gains killing your short order instant.I believe the current system of fee colected by each country are being wasted with politicians having fun with those funds.I understand that is need taxes but if they were used properly we would be facing financial problems,even China has their big machine almost frozen,production stucked because others cant buy the things now.

Yes, it is true that fiat is still the basis of the current economic system, but the past global crises had taught us to lose confidence in the current system, and it has strengthened our alternate ecosystem based on cryptocurrencies. Yes, fiat exist, but the mere fact of its existence does not make it reliable at all.

Same here. I am full into Bitcoin as being the best possible current and future currency. That's why I buy a certain amount of Bitcoin every month. I will continue to do this as I want to have the major part of my wealth in Bitcoin at some point in the future.

agree. I myself never think to believe in fiat or other currencies. just use what are available to use as long as they're legal, or no one forbids us to use it, or the advantages are not too much.
fiat itself is not forbiden, is legal and currency. so just use it, don't need to believe in, that's all.
