You may want to educate yourself on how DGM works.
[/quote]

i educated myself and i _think_ i've understood.
odd thing is that even Graet could not explain to me why round credit is that low and dropped a few times since the hack.

someone has to enlighten me. what am i missing?

I've also asked him why everyone's credit dropped that one time, but he didn't know anything either. Not sure if it was a database issue or what. I figure by now the lost shares are a fractional proportion of the total, insignificant in my estimations. If you're seeing occasional dips in your own round credit since then, that's a natural occurence when the pool hashrate increases - your own share of the round decreases as other people do more work.

Also, looks like we didn't bust that block by bounty deadline (Sunday midnight server time). How about if we bust it by Friday midnight server time, block winner gets 1/3 of my round credit (a prize currently worth just shy of 0.5BTC)? There won't be a second extension.

Roughly 2 years ago, they used server connection/ stability excuses and/or abracanooob would troll your ass if you didn't accept his view that it must be a problem on my/your end. Now they simply don't know and we have that waskully raskul failing hard as a troll. lol..

All the while.. notsoGraet keeps raking in the cheap hashpower.

Since our last update, approx. 2 days 8 hours ago, the pool's DGM reward has increased by, a very laughable, 0.08340004 BTC.

Rough estimates show that, 32 thash over that same time frame would have earned 0.896 BTC. eg. (32* 0.012 BTC per thash per day) * 2.3333333333333333333333333333 days = 0.896 BTC

Seriously, how many times does it need to be said? With DGM (as with many non-crappy payout methods), round payouts are somewhat independent of the length of the round. I don't know if you noticed or not, but each round gets 25BTC from generated coins and pays out in the neighborhood of 25BTC. Of course the pool credit isn't going up super fast - blocks don't generate more than 25BTC no matter how long they take to mine. A 10% block pays out in the neighborhood of 25BTC, just the same as a 1000% block would.

This pool has accumulated a massive DGM surplus thanks to gullable/ overly trusting people like you.

That or you are yet another sock/shill ignoring the obvious.

Hi!

I'g getbtc fom Ozcoin.
Sorry for bad english, i not speak too good.
I want so help to solve this problem block, i have rigs and rentings.
So i leases hash power for less than HALF price, *ONLY* for Ozco workers.
Now 1TH/Day mine 0.0126Btc, my proposition 1TH/Day = 0.006BTC
Length of renting = (Send money / wanted TH*0.006) Day

Please send your information (workername, workerpass, wanted hash for me "getbtcnow@gmail.com", or in reply)
Send coins to 1GetBTCS3v84PmyftP521SFinb64ZLtT3Y, this is new address only for ozco renters, every renting is viewable on this address: https://blockchain.info/address/1GetBTCS3v84PmyftP521SFinb64ZLtT3Y

I'm not going to fool anyone, I understand if you are wary, so try out the service only small amount,
and if there is a problem let us know immediately.

Let's find that fu**ing block together! Trust me we will find!

Regards,
 GBC

Hello, i want 2TH for 3days,

Still won't provide us with any facts or hard data eh ? At least you have character assasination down..

https://www.ozcoin.net/content/overview-bitcoin

Rough calculations show the last 30 blocks have accumulated a DGM surplus of well over 20 BTC. So not only is the daily DGM reward paying at a much lower than market value, the miners are also being denied access that forever growing surplus.

The miners will have access to that surplus if a stretch of bad luck blocks is hit. Have you done any actual math that proves people are getting cheated? No, of course not, you're just speculating based on numbers that you pull out of thin air.

...and if Piggie Gimp truly has something which he believes makes the DGM method inviable, he really should be addressing Meni Rosenfeld directly, that the code may be amended correctly and rolled out to pool ops. Simply posting his tripe (that's animal stomachs) on pool threads goes no way to fixing the issues which he believes to be inherent in the mining method.

personaly, i think he's just pulling tripe from his bottom.

Explain what you think is wrong with it. I'm looking at it right now and I don't see anything. No, I haven't done the math myself, but I trust people smarter than myself that have. Meni Rosenfeld and organofcorti are a lot more credible than that moron conspiracy theorist.

Yeah I noticed that, was a bit worried but I was away from IRC all weekend and couldn't ask about it. Stats are back up now. Usually when stats go down it's a server issue (shares are all cached and counted when it's back up) but it's rare to go that long. Graet's got some not-so-friendly stuff going on in real life these days though so I can understand if that caused the service delay. I'll check later and see what happened.
