There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

us.ozco.in seems to be down. Luckily I also have stratum.ozco.in as a backup, so it's still working for me, but I just thought I'd let you know.

Tips? 1crazy8pMqgwJ7tX7ZPZmyPwFbc6xZKM9

Hello guys,
I get there because I thought this may be a cheap and good pool to run my hardware. After reading https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Comparison_of_mining_pools, I saw fee of 1% / 2% for DGM. But looks like it's on 3% right now. So turns out this pool is exactly the same like BTC Guild (apart from different reward algorithm), it's paying Tx Fees, NMC and fee is 3%.

Is there any chance to lower Fee to 2%? This may attract more users and pool hashrate will grow. WIth today's 3% I don't have much choice, but go somewhere else.
Please consider.

Regards
Lenny

DGM is 1%.

If your paying 3% it may because you set your contribution to an additional 2% to be a VIP member.  That is completely optional.

Check this comparison chart for accurate information.

I spoke about that with Graet and it seem no one was willing to donate for implementing this under stratum  Sad.

Yeah, that will explain everything. This pool could be 10x times bigger. But, NMC, why bother... no?

Good luck guys.

NMC is a waste of time and effort.

It's an abandoned project that has failed and was never meant to be a currency.

It caused problems for EVERY pool that has ever implemented Merged Mining.

And it is worthless.

But hey, besides that it's just great.

I've been getting a bunch of Idle worker warning emails in the last few days, even though all my workers are still submitting shares. I get a notification for all of my workers with notifications on at the same time.

Huh

I'm not referring to your time and effort.

If it's really 5% how long will that last now that close to 40Ths has been thrown at it recently?

When merged mining was first started that spelled doom for the project, which may have been a worthwhile project in it's own right.

Enjoy the spoils while it lasts,
Sam

BTC Guild (the largest and most advanced pool in the world) added merged mining for NMC just a couple of weeks ago.  There was much rejoicing.  So much for "abandoned."

NMC has the third highest cryptocoin market cap behind LTC, a position it has held for many months.  So much for "worthless" and "failed."

But keep repeating your baseless, demonstrably false assertions ad nauseum.  You might get lucky someday and find them to be true!   Wink

Until then, we'll be amused by your embarrassing confusion between actual reality and wishful thinking.    Smiley
