Graet, "Soft block size limit reached, action required by YOU" https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=149668.0What is Ozcoin's policy on blocks > 250K? I suggest it should block SatoshiDice transactions when the block size is too large.

after learning more we have decided to increase block size we also need to update bitcoinds and some other code on all mining nodes when the new eustratum server is online we will go around the mining nodes one at a time doing all the required updates, this could mean downtime on each node of up to 2 hours, only 1 mining node will be offline at a time and will not affect website/database or statistics, once again I strongly encourage Ozcoin miners to set a different Ozcoin node for 1st and 2nd failover

Graet, Could you post this information over at this new thread organofcorti started this morning? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=151387.msg1606559#msg1606559This thread should help alleviate the block size hysteria at bit. Thanks, Sam

What should alleviate the hysteria is pools not responding to the clamorings of a few repeat trollers to enable faster block growth with an agenda of gambling more cheaply.
Size is not an issue anyway:
Block size of ozcoin's last blocks, with count of '1dice' ins or outs (of total transactions):
225257 2013-03-10 22:46:11 82.80 KB - 187 (195) 225254 2013-03-10 22:33:52 126.50 KB - 323 (373) 225253 2013-03-10 22:27:52 30.43 KB - 48 (80) 225238 2013-03-10 20:25:03 356.82 KB - 861 (1019) 225188 2013-03-10 13:47:53 266.71 KB - 646 (840) 225175 2013-03-10 11:41:32 65.82 KB - 139 (155) 225173 2013-03-10 11:33:25 221.28 KB - 542 (674) 225161 2013-03-10 10:25:58 174.79 KB - 345 (416) 225157 2013-03-10 09:47:16 142.34 KB - 341 (345)

Yep, but sadly that battle has done been lost. So now we're left with full disclosure of all pools to see where they are at and why!!!!!!!!!!! Sam

Well said, C8s. I was with OZCoin for quite a while mid 2012 and wandered fr a bit. I've been back for a while now and have no intention of moving anytime soon.
