Hey Graet,
are the low balance payouts working? I have had a 0.0156 balance for over a year and it wont auto payout even though I set the threshold to 0.01BTC. It says my payout address is locked, but it's set to the correct address anyway.

We've prepared an Ozcoin widget app wich enables you to monitor Ozcoin activity in a nice looking app directly on your desktop.

In other news a bug with newly created workers has been fixed Smiley
I'm very sorry, but I cannot find this widget following that link.
"The page you are looking for cannot be found"
Please somebody share a link with me!.. Thanx!

hi guys, I am new to this and currently hashing away on Slush's pool until I saw this one !

Since I am in OZ, I would love to joint the community but want to understand, what is the advantage of hashing here vs Slush's pool in simple terms?

thanks in advance!

EDIT: hah! just realized I already had an account with OZcoin pool heh, created aaaaaages ago when I was just playing around with this and there is still 0.00777025 BTC in the acc ! Should I finish mining on Slush's pool until I get 0.1 BTC payout (prob another 3-4 days) or just come straight on the OZcoin?

well, Ozcoin is currently offering:
Blockfinders bonus reward 0.5BTC per block for the next 9 block solves
1 random share per round will be awarded 0.1BTC for the next 9 rounds

So bonus BTC is you find a block and a random chance of wining 0.1btc.

Cheers,

Thanks os2sam, I did get onto Graet and he sorted it out for me.

But I kind of whoopsed with the S3's, the date for batch 8
is 20Sep not 20Aug that I thought it was, It will teach me not
to act before actually reading (and comprehending) the whole
picture.

Anyway they are cheap enough now, even with that months
extra wait, it will work out pretty well IMO

cheers

There is something I don't understand going on here.
According to the pool's hashrate graph and my own observations, Ozcoin pool is running over 1 PH/s for more than 24 hours now.
To be more precise, the graph reports that in the last 24 hours it ran at an average hashrate of about 1,061,302 GH/s (I tried to attach an image of the graph but I get the "bitcointalk.org image proxy invalid image" error, so you have to go here to see it).
I checked with gribble in the #ozcoin IRC chat room and it says:

Quote
XFox ;;gentime [bc,ozcoin]
gribble The average time to generate a block at 1187338931.0 Mhps, given difficulty of 23844670038.8, is 23 hours, 57 minutes, and 34 seconds

But ozbot and website reports that we still found only 34.50% of diff:

Quote
XFox .site
ozbot This round (3d 0h 30m) we have 8226859901 shares, avg 1187.34 TH/s | 34.50% of diff | 68 users

Shouldn't we already be near 100% of diff??
Am I missing something, is the share count wrong, are there missing shares somewhere or what? Huh

Dear Ozco.iners,

Since tomorrow my miners (over 1ooo GH/s) are hashing with 2 GH/s. Is the pool temporarily dead? In the Shoutbox other users report similar problems.

I tried the different stratum-connections (EU, US, CN) unfortunately unsuccessful. I also tried to connect a rented rig of Betarigs, also unsuccessful.

I also deleted the "workers" and created new auto-workers, also unsuccessful.

only 3 rounds left with this round of incentives

Since the start of incentives the pool found 6 blocks and I remember you wrote that the bonus would have lasted 10 blocks.
So why there are only 3 rounds left? Shouldn't they be 4?

Beside that, Graet, could you please answer to the concerns about hashrate and share count I exposed in this post?

Today I've also noticed that there are more invalid than valid shares!
Check it by yourself here (this is a screenshot of the data I'm seeing, just in case).
Raw data is:
Quote
Current Round:
Round Dur.   1 Days 13 Hours 5 Minutes
Speed      1,555,822.29 GHash/s
Worker      122
User         75
Valid Sh.      10,094,874,140
Invalid Sh.      13,566,097,014
Est. Payout   25.21159654
Donation      2.05%
Eff.         42.66%
Maybe it has something to do with the "missing shares" mystery?

Could this be due to a stratum hashpower/share exploit run amok ?
