Beyond any problems Ethereum might have - real and perceived - it has a lot of network effect going for it. You can have the best project in the world, but if the network effect is not working for you - it will be pretty much dead in the water. That being said, Ethereum should form part of a portfolio. It shouldn't be the only crypto in one's portfolio.

Yes Ethereum has the potential for growth but it is still an Altcoin and better not to invest more than you can afford to lose. It has potential, I would say but its value goes too high too fast based on the hype. I am really surprised that it does not fall at this point but it bodes well for you if you hold it.
