So, a minor update. Here is the current situation:

We can't reproduce the issue. We've scoured through the code. Zero checks have been implemented.

Some users have it working. Some do not. At this point, we're throwing shit and seeing what sticks. It's not a simple case of 'fix it!' - without physical access to your machine, we have no way of seeing if there is any correlation between each user and the errors they are receiving.

I'm extremely sorry to those of you who have not gotten it working, but please, be patient. We're working hard. It's not an easy fix, and it has three of the top cryptocurrency developers in the world completely stumped.

Just because you don't hear from us for a day or two does NOT mean we're not working on it - we are. We just don't feel the need to keep beating a dead horse and state 'working on it' every hour, on the hour.

I assure you, the moment we do have so semblance of progress, we will inform the community.

Our last solution is this: we'd like to SSH into a Linux or Windows machine that has issues, so we can recompile and fix the issue. So, if any community members offer themselves as tribute to Wolf0, send him or I a PM and we'll help you get set up on that.

a nice pomade passage Smiley

So like we said, this coin is still unfair with mining distribution ..

In addition to 3 years of mining and hundreds of altcoins mined ..
I have never seen such a mess mining with altcoin although it had the potential..

So far and for a long time it seems to me, a handful of guys will siphon off most of the mining

it's too ugly and funny at once  Cheesy Grin Cheesy

@ dev team
gl with the ninja instamine   Cool

Cheers..

Many more coins have been given away for free than mined. I think it is much fairer than most other coins.

Troll all you want  Smiley

The only thing that you keep repeating that isn't accurate is the 3 months of a better sgminer and the devs instamining with it.  Pallas' miner has been out that long and has worked for almost everyone with an AMD card.  Wolf's miner was released only a few weeks ago.  No one on the dev team was instamining with it.  When CryptoCoderz compiled it he immediately released it.  Also, once again, cryptocoderz and most of the main dev team don't even have a GPU or if the do don't have ones that are capable of mining with the miner.

So once again, troll all you want, but don't keep repeating fallacies.

Thanks!

If it would be helpful I have a machine that is dual boot Ubuntu/Windows 10. I was able to compile and run Wolf version on linux after some figuring dependencies but the same machine will present the same errors under windows everyone else is reporting.

I have some time on my hands and a willingness to help.

if you really didn't like the coin you would have left weeks ago, espcecially since you said you aren't holding any ESP.
instead you are trolling ahead, which means the coin is interesting and is a serious competitor to some other coin.
now choose what to do next.

For the people still stuck with the old miner, I've just submitted a 10% speedup.
You don't need to wait for a new build: just replace the hmq1725.cl file with this one:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pallas1/sgminer_HMQ1725/c56f22f84ec504b985862195b4dd9f4f2f9a16ff/kernel/hmq1725.cl

Remove all the bin files and you are ready to go!

someone can compile for windows

Miners have already been compiled for windows

Here is a direct download URL for the windows binaries of the older miner:  >>>LINK HERE<<<

and the new one is >>>HERE<<<

I tested sgminer_build_hmq1725_b4 on Win7 64bit.
Works without any problems for me.

7950 ~ 1,3 MHs
7850 ~ 880 KHs
R7 370 ~ 1,1 MHs

On Win 8.1 with a 7850 the miner crashes. Don´t know why but will a have a look tomorrow.

I finally finished my new website, specifically for ESP mining hardware comparison.

Please check it out : http://esp-setup.weebly.com/

If you're interested to add your setup, you'll be rewarded with 5.000 ESP.
You can use the contact form on the site or this Google Spreadsheet:

Please share and repost if you like this idea

Best regards

Trading is quite low and the price is not that good, its better to trade ESP for LTC at the moment. The exchange too cannot be trusted yet.
