The node is karbo.ceallach.pro:32348. Anyone may use it.  I didn't see any option to set or not set a fee when I configured. Where is that option? karbowanecd --help does not show that.

Thanks!
Cool,  here's how to setup http://www.karbo.cloud/#setup_node

Thanks for the help setting up my node. I see a few transactions through it as I have several very small fees. I am glad some have found it useful. Smiley  I hope Karbo can sustain through this bear market!

Hi.
What are the requirements for masternode?

P.S. Sorry for errors in English - it's not my native language...

Hi.
What are the requirements for masternode?
Masternodes are the serves for light wallets. Karbo wallets can operate through remote daemon without storing blockchain to the local device. It allows to get ready to work new wallet quickly when needed. Masternode is basically the CLI Karbo daemon, that is running on a machine with open port and allows to connect to it for such light and mobile wallets.

The remote nodes are rewarded for their service. Karbo wallets, connected to masternode, are paying small additional fee (0.25% from the amount of transaction) to that node when are sending transactions through it. These fees are supposed to help to cover the costs of operating Karbo nodes.

So far there's no collateral.

How to setup http://www.karbo.cloud/

Important update for exchanges, pools and nodes with protection against 51% attacks and DA fix!!!

Nodes at version 1.6.0 should resync or use bootstrap https://bootstrap.krbnodes.pp.ua/blockchain-2018-11-09.tar.gz or https://looongcat.pp.ua/blockchain-2018-11-09.tar.gz . Please make sure you have exactly the same difficulty as others! Refer to http://108.61.198.115:32348/getinfo or  http://45.32.232.11:32348/getinfo for difficulty. Difficulty should match exactly.

We hope they will open wallet soon. There are other exchanges working now: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/karbo/#markets

Read about our novel 51% attack protection at https://medium.com/@karbo.org/prevent-transaction-cancellation-in-51-attack-79ba03d191f0

TLDR: Karbo made a novel and unique protection against 51%-attacks which disallows cancelling transactions from blockchain during reorganization. Now Karbo network nodes will refuse to reorganize to an alternative chain until any transaction from the current public chain is missing in the alternative chain. Even more, the alternative chain has to win within 10 blocks.

The attack was repulsed and we did not allow to reorganize to the attacker's alternative chain that was lacking a transaction to the exchange. Although reorganization did happen we rolled it back at once. As far as we know, no any losses to exchanges were caused. After the last update, we believe this type of attacks on exchanges are impossible, although exchanges should take precautionary measures to make sure they are not sybill attacked, which is standard security measures every cryptocurrency exchange should follow... The recommendations are to use several distributed nodes and follow the majority decision on the right chain, pause the wallet everytime that diverts from the block explorer.

This coin looks interesting. Is it a completely anonymous coin? If so, then I am ready to buy coins for long-term storage.

Not completely anonymous, the complete anonymity is not it's goal, at least for now, let's say it's private enough.

Guys, what do you think on the current state of crypto regulation in Ukraine, they are talking on the national cryptocurrency and so on. Have you been thinking on any partnerships or cooperation to get more legitimacy? On my opinion Karbo has gained recognition of Ukrainian community and it deserves to be broader adopted.

No it's not the exchange's fault. It's the design of POW with the' longest chain rule', 'might is right' rule and the availability of abundant hashrate for rent without any KYC to prevent nefarious use. Exchanges as legal entities should threat Nicehash with a court.
