Sending to bitmainwarranty is not free but will cost less and get done faster.

Hi All,
I was looking to buy the Bitmain Antminer S9 13.5 TH/s from an online company in the UK. They claim the unit is directly from Bitmain. The only difference on the specs on their site was the chips.
It is the same 13.5 TH/s units ?
Description from Bitmain Site: AntMiner S9 Specifications: 1. Hash Rate: 13.5 TH/s ±5% 2. Power Consumption: 1323W ±10% (at the wall, with APW3++, 93% efficiency, 25C ambient temp) 3. Power Efficiency: 0.098 W/GH ±7%(at the wall, with APW3++, 93% efficiency, 25°C ambient temp) 4. Rated Voltage: 11.60 ~13.00V 5. ASIC Chip: 189 x BM1387 6. Dimensions: 350mm(L)*135mm(W)*158mm(H) 7. Cooling: 2x 12038 fans 8. Operating Temperature: 0 °C to 40 °C 9. Network Connection: Ethernet (network cable not included) 10. Default Frequency: 650M

The only real difference are the chips. 189 x BM-1387 and your unit shows 90 x BM1387
Anyone have any idea if this is the same unit ?
TIA, Ed, aka-mcptrman

Makes me wonder if it is a typo. I have seen it on another site for example: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MCZVPFE/?tag=cryptoguide-20The description is at the bottom of the page. Product description Size:13.5 TH/s *POWER SUPPLY IS NOT INCLUDED* If you have 220v-264v power, then Bitmain recommends using the APW3++ power supply. If you have 110v-120v power (standard power outlets in the US), then the following power supplies have been confirmed to work well: -Bitmain's APW5 -EVGA's SuperNova 1600G2 AntMiner S9 Specifications: 1. Hash Rate: 13.5 TH/s ±5% 2. Power Consumption: 1323W ±10% (at the wall, with APW3++, 93% efficiency, 25C ambient temp) 3. I don't have experience in this field specifically, but I have had dealings with Alibaba manufacturers before. Short answer, no.

Inspect it/straighten cable. 3.Swap communication cable position between boards, install it back. Most likely card on left (from exhaust fan position) is having this issue. 4.Again re-attach power supply. Fire up.

Well I am in the same situation as you. I never had an Antminer but I want to buy one. I am in EU, and can pay only with visa card, or try to buy bitcoins with card to pay. So I was looking on alibaba site for at least one month, but like you I don't know who to trust. There are sellers with videos, and have their company name written on a paper. I will try to post links here, hope I don't break any kind of rule. This should provide proof that they are legit, but again, maybe there is at least one person in this world who bought one from alibaba and happens to have an account here and can help us out! All of them have Transaction numbers (6 months) and 1/4/6 years registered on alibaba. 1) https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Bitmain-Antminer-S9-14TH-s-Bitcoin_60696358306.html?spm=a2700.7724838.2017115.1.8415ad9CDeRNw2) https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/hot-sale-fast-delivery-antminer-bitcoin_60707529187.html?spm=a2700.7724838.2017115.24.8415ad9CDeRNw3) https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Antminer-S9-13-5TH-s-098W_60720051284.html?spm=a2700.7724838.2017115.34.8415ad9CDeRNw4) https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Quicky-delivery-for-bitmain-antminer-S9_60701909360.html?spm=a2700.7724838.2017115.303.8415ad9CDeRNwOne information I can provide is that they asked me what TH do I want? 13.5 or 14? and when do I want it because the price differs. Like if I want it in 1 week is 5000 USD, 1 month 4000-3000 USD and so one. It would be extremely helpful if someone who bought from them can come with a feedback to help out people who have only credit card. Cheers!

I got in contact with them about my Jan 21-30 order being shipped but none of my Dec 10- 20 or Dec 20-30 orders being shipped and they told me that none of those will ship until after January 2nd. Doesn't make much sense to me but oh well!

Halo Platform is one of the fastest Blockchains I've seen yet. They have FREE transactions. 250 Millisecond Block speeds. Smart contracts, Masternodes, blockchain games, and their own high speed DEX with BTC/ETH/USDC pairs. Similar to ETH, Waves, EOS, and more yet with only $1 million mcap. This video showcases the speed and reliability of the blockchain using the DEX, Masternodes (that will soon payout in BTC and ETH), blockchain games, and more! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g74d3ixX7E8&feature=youtu.be

These are probably clones/replicas of the original bitmain product. Im curious if anyone bought something like that and if the asics are reliable like the original ones.

Also wondering if anyone has made any deals on Alibaba. I've been all over Alibaba for a couple months trying to find legit sellers. I've contacted probably every seller listing miners. Every single one of them wants to go wechat or whatsapp for sale and accept btc only. I cant get comfortable with that.

I have tried Alibaba in the past order for miners for about $10K and had good success. Make sure you have a good rating on the company that you are buying from.
