I have tried Alibaba in the past order for miners for about $10K and had good success. Make sure you have a good rating on the company that you are buying from.
What payment method did you choose? Can you give us the name of the seller? I guess some extra info would be greatly appreciated by alot of people here.

Just an FYI I got notification that my January order has been shipped today
1 of our 4 January 21-31 orders shipped today. Still no word on our December 21-30 order. I suspect that Bitmain has more than 1 manufacturing facility for the S9 and one of them is outperforming the other. I also noticed that the product page for the December 21-30 batch has been updated with "(HK)" at the end of the heading, which I assume means Hong Kong. The product page for the January 21-31 batch does not have this. Perhaps the "(HK)" denotes which facility the order is being handled by. I've noticed that my previous orders updated to show "(HK)" were shipped later than my shipments for orders the came from product pages that didn't show "(HK)". "(HK)" was definitely not present during the purchasing process, so there still isn't a way to know ahead of time which manufacturing center your order is going to.

Does your order page actually change to "shipped" or does it remain "shipping"? My PSU's still say shipping even though I have them, and I could swear at one point the tracking info was on my order page but then disappeared. It's as if Bitmain doesn't realize that I already have them.

The other orders do not.

Well today is the 1st day of the official Dec 21-30 batch ship dates. Waiting for that email notification.......
Yeah I am mining with my Jan 21-31 2018 order while I wait for my Dec 21-31 2017 order to ship. A true WTF? order 2 Pcs Shipping date: Jan 21-31 2018 arrival date: Dez 22 2017 Tested just now. They have different fans, from hardware version to bminner version everything different. Both take longer to start mining than usual. One of the them is howling louder than usual, changing fan-speed between 5'000 to 6'000 every minute or so (I think this was happening with the very first autotune batches). Have a strange feeling on this. Can it be, Bitmain is clearing they're mines in order to get space for 9nm ?

My "HK" was shipped from Hong Kong and arrived much quicker than the one not labeled HK. THe S9 not labeled HK spent about a week just to get out of China. I still had to pay customs either way.

Stock firmware from Bitmain on the Antminer S9 isn't that great. If someone re-writes the OS to increase efficiency, I will pay a dev fee.

I dont feel they are selling used miners though....they are profitable so might as well keep running them. A lot of people around here are building pretty massive mining farms (all S9's). I cannot stress how stupid that is. S9's are at the end of their lifecycle and the next generation will probably see the same increase in efficiency as the S7vsS9 (of course a little less). Profitability is high now, but in 4 months ? I feel its a gamble,I rather have GPUS, my 2 cents.

Considering s7s are still profitable now, I dont see why you would call the s9 end of life. The other 2 miner manufactures have taken 2 years to even match the s9 efficiency. Even if bitmain comes out with something new the s9 will be profitable for a long time to come. S9 profitability has never been higher than it has in the last 60 days, thats not usually how an EoL product performs. GPU systems are less stable, cost more to build, and ROI slower than the s9 right now.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

I read 14Th/s batch have bad quality than 13.5th/s. More complaint from customer... It's true ? Old topic... And no futures... Stock firmware from Bitmain on the Antminer S9 isn't that great. If someone re-writes the OS to increase efficiency, I will pay a dev fee.
I tried to reverse the system, with SSD, we can have access to everything. But there are two solutions for now, use bmminer, and try to disable auto tune, and use any frequency (it's a risk). Or maybe use ccminer, but it need to compile and work with Asic chip... And maybe it will be more efficiency... The main question, is what is the goal ? More frequency ? Best cooling ?
