order 2 Pcs Shipping date: Jan 21-31 2018 arrival date: Dez 22 2017
Tested just now. They have different fans, from hardware version to bminner version everything different. Both take longer to start mining than usual. One of the them is howling louder than usual, changing fan-speed between 5'000 to 6'000 every minute or so (I think this was happening with the very first autotune batches). Have a strange feeling on this. Can it be, Bitmain is clearing they're mines in order to get space for 9nm ?
can confirm that my 13.5th miner listed for 21-30Jan is arrived Dez 21 2017 other firmware, fans louder than all the other S9, more power consuption, like 1500W, this pre shipped miners are crap btw: flashing latest firmware helped a lot I received one last month that constantly changes fan speed (4k to 6k), etc. - I tried updating the firmware, but it's still the same. When you say flashing the latest helped - which version are you running now? (Antminer-S9-all-201708151137-autofreq-user-Update2UBI-NF.tar.gz)? Thanks! Jesse this one (Antminer-S9-all-201708151137-autofreq-user-Update2UBI-NF.tar.gz) doesnt help (to me)

Thanks for sharing. Added it to the cart, ready to order... And now I have some decision paralysis. With the current difficulty growth... I'm not sure when/if this guy will pay for itself.

Just bought 2 more however, I again having trouble with the order being "paid". I sent the Bcash well within the hour time frame (35 mins) and it still went to unpaid and expired. I contacted support. Anyone else having this trouble today?

are these even worth it anymore? I mean when is the s11 going to come out? It seems like with the increase of bitcoin price it's likely some company has something new coming?

Once the payment goes through it will change to “paid” even though the time has expired

Once the payment goes through it will change to “paid” even though the time has expired Yes I have had this happen before but this time it seems different. It has not changed to paid even after 7 confirmations. Also yes I have double and triple checked the addresses.

Last time it went to "paid" but "expired" as soon as there were a few confirmations. Then after a day or two they fixed the "expired" to "valid". This time it seems they did not receive the payment at all. I don't want to get paranoid, but they also didn't announce this on twitter. I think we'll have to wait and see. Edit: I just received the payment confirmation. Into the familiar "Paid" but "Expired" state that hopefully gets fixed soon as last time did.

As scary as it sounds I am glad I have at-least someone in the same situation. This tells me it seems like a their problem not an us problem. For what it is worth I have never had a problem that Bitmain support could not fix yet. They may not always get it right the first time buy they have always fixed it for me. I also tried calling their support number in China, their phone told me to make a support ticket. I'll just Hodl out.

I would be safe to say that is all these bitmain miners are good for doing right now. Is to be mining BCH with. Wouldn't you agree?

I got some generic reply that did not work. Getting a little uneasy now.

I'm having a somewhat similar to above but a bit different problem. So made an order of a few S9's. Then sent part of the BCC amount from coinbase account. Then, while i was exchanging the rest to BCC in my other wallet, the order expired (they seem to have changed it from one hour to 30 min). So now i have almost $2k stuck in a forever expired order. Has this happened to anyone??? Plz advise. Opened a ticket, but looking for advise/similar issues from others..

I would wait to hear what they say, rather then keep paying. 30 minuets to pay for an order is impossible sometimes. I paid for mine in the first block after I placed the order and it was at 30 minutes.

No, the problem is once it expires, there's no option to pay it. I mean they got that $2k, hope they'll refund it back or apply to another order, either one would work for me.

I paid for mine in the first block after I placed the order and it was at 30 minutes. It's still 1 hour. There is 30 mins on a screen to actually choose the payment method (only option is bitcoin cash), I stalled it there for a few minutes while I prepared the transaction. Then I pressed "next" or something and it actually put the order through and the 1 hour counter started (and the bitcoin cash amount changed).

It has not changed to paid even after 7 confirmations. Also yes I have double and triple checked the addresses. I am in the same boat, opened a ticket. I paid in full, had several confirms within 30 minutes of the order's being placed (now >10 confirms), but no PAID email, and the order now shows expired. Same as you, I checked and re-checked and re-re-checked the address and that I hadn't done something REALLY dumb like send BTC. All was correct on my side. ETA, in the ticket I sent them blockchain explorer link to the payment address showing full amt received. I feel like that address used to be included in the order email, but it isn't any more.
