It is a good coin, it is originated in Holland also known as the Netherlands, gulden is now accepted over more places and many are yet to come, Dutch people love gulden because before the whole euro money gulden was the most trustfull and reliable fiat here in the Netherlands, back in the days you could buy a full cart of groceries with gulden, the euro however made it worse, it is more expensive and you can buy less stuff with it, I hope gulden is accepted in the whole country and brings a lot of memories back when all people loved gulden.

I didn't want to post this in the Gulden Announcement page to avoid bias opinions but wanted to know if Gulden is a safe bet compared to other alt coins. The reason I am asking is I noticed there ranking on coinmarketcap is way below other coins that have nothing going for them or is it that the other alt coins are way over priced?
So do you think that Gulden is a good Investment?...
True, Gulden is a good investment, but for the long term, and Guilders rarely experience price fluctuations, and this condition, very much different from bitcoin or altcoin that has its own character in the world market.
For bitcoin hunter, Gulden isn`t a right choice.

This is the kind of mentality Gulden has to deal with, not sure how the price will ever increase.

Bought a lot the last few days, had a nice average price of around 1550/1600, sold them this morning for 1700, expected this drop a bit. Think I'll buy back in again

Keep the bids below 1700 or this guy will dump on us again.

He was planning to rebuy in at low 1500s, not many if any sales went that low after he sold. We might be lucky that he is out the way now but there might be other traders that premature on 5-6% profit. I agree in putting low bids to try get coins off the traders that have to survive on these small profit margins.

EDIT: I have noticed a build up of 3.8 btc to 2000, traders are buying and placing higher sales. Don't fall for the trap! Force them to sell for a loss.

This is the main disadvantage of attracting mainstreamers, especially people from EU who hardly get interest from savings accounts. 5-6% profit is more then they will make in 10 years in a EU bank and they making this profit in a week. Gulden would of been far better off with the general crypto users who understand that crypto is more then just making money. Crypto traders hodl longer then mainstreamers for the very reason I mention above. Gulden has made life worse for itself with the opening of the Euro exchange in terms of price.

A lot of people posting here thought it would bring Gulden to a new level and they couldn't of been more wrong.

PoW2 and SegSig release would of done 10000000 times better without the mainstreamers dragging the price down on the Euro exchange.

The 2nd Euro exchange called Guldentrader will bring more negative prices like Nocks has done.

Gulden does not care much about price (has been repeated over and over again in slack). They care about adoption

But how do they get there income?

They raised a few hundred BTC last year for development (and a bit extra to speed it up). Devs are comfortable that their income isn't influenced to NLG price development.

Yeah, we took over 600BTC from you dumbasses! That's right, over € 3.000.000,-!!! So we don't care about your investments or Gulden price. We do what we like and you get to say Heil Rijk! Otherwise, piss off!

Corrected some typo's

This thread is so funny  Grin
Popcorn time!

This is the real deal

1 All the premine is for developing the developer
2 dev never dumps coins on market regularly, via backdoor at Nocks
3 dev steal never money from his community by selling 600BTC of shares when they only needed 40 to complete development
4 nocks never dump coins on the market secretly by command of dev
5 nocks never steal money from community by repaying loan from premine in BTC and not in NLG
6 gulden is not coming on poloniex because Rijk prohibits it and therefor takes away good profit opportunities for the community
7 Rijk is not on bitcointalk he haves only the account "Gulden", which he uses to censor any critics in his ANN
8 the script for Gulden is unique, not copy past a 95% copy of Bitcoin code with some nice alterations
9 this november the Update, or later, let's call it #soon (read June 2018)
10 Gulden is not a ico coin, because the dev sold his premine for "shares" before the word ICO was invented.
11 Gulden is a coin for the future of the dev, € 3mm is enough to live on for a long, long time!

And don't feed the trolls and fuds, burp

I like Gulden, even though I don't own any of their coins. But they make it very easy to get into Crypto by simple paying through third party service providers or via bank transfer, that's one thing that is definitely missing from the crypto world. An easy way to directly convert Fiat to Crypto and Crypto to Fiat. The problem is that various countries have their own regulation in place, which make broker services some times very troublesome. You have to submit documentations, proof of residence/id etc. which take up a lot of time. The good thing about Gulden, is when you do convert Fiat to Crypto, you can then move that Crypto in an exchange and start trading. it's usually easier to trade from crypto to crypto than from fiat to crypto. Most exchanges just require you to have an account (submitting essentially your email) and that's usually enough for you to start trading. Hopefully more projects will focus on that and expand internationally, or at least regionally, the same way Gulden has done for the Netherlands.

Investeerder said the development will be finished in March and a good time to buy will be in November when the community will know the release is not coming next month and will start dumping their coins. Expect another delay!!!!!
investeerder has moved onto a new project called Utrust.

Low prices for a few more months will be good for the coin.

NLG has a little more to go before I start thinking about buying. My buy zone is marked by the blue box. Depending on the situation by then, I might start thinking about an upmove again.

We're almost in my buy zone. Seeing that BTC is going for another bullrun I will probably start buying lightly at 1300sats and start buying heavier the lower we go.

Just out of curiosity, what part of your own advise did you not get?

Facts remain the same, Gulden is a heavily pre-mined coin, Gulden has taken 600BTC from their community to pay the dev in exchange of part of that pre-mine (I call that an ICO) and if you dig a little deeper you will clearly find that there has been way more "self enrichment" from the pre-mine than you are willing to admit.

Gulden is a scam, it's just that it's a damn good one, I have to give you that.

Indeed, the more FUD and scam comments the more likely it is we are close to an eruption in price. 😂.
Why else bother with writing all those comments if you have no interest in a coin. 🎉🚀.
TA also shows accumulation, and RSI is already turning upwards. Time to fill the bags! 👊

Oh, by the way, TradingSeminars will talk about Gulden on a Wild FM radioshow, giving away some Gulden as promotion on novembre 1st.
