I think untill 2050, Bitcoin will not be replaced by any other crypto currency.Reputation of Bitcoin is very good compared to any other crypto coin.Eve if any other altcoin replaces Bitcoin, Bitcoin will still be existing in the market.
The concept of bitcoin being replaced by another crypto currency looks completely senseless for now, as we can clearly see that the markets of alt coins are running just because of bitcoin, why? Because people trade other coins in order to earn more bitcoins or in order to grow their bitcoins, no one likes to hold any other crypto currency for long run except bitcoin, and that clears the superiority of bitcoin i guess. |

quit unrealistic question. because without bitcoin we can't think of altcoin. Obviously without any pinch of doubt i could say that bitcoin is mother of all cryptocurrency and it's the role model for all other coins. although there is a coin may be more that have price higher then bitcoin but market capitalization is maximum in bitcoin.

Replaced by an altcoin? You mean by just a copy? That is way too impossible to happen. Those altcoin makes us profit but dont let that blind us for them to take charge of the crypto world. As long as there are people controlling those alts then it is hard to trust it in the long run. Bitcoin can fail over the time, but its very hard to believe it may happen, the security level is the best worlwide or looks like it is. Besides that there is a huge investment around bitcoin, i cant say that some other altcoin cant achieve bitcoin status, but all altcoins have someone in the control. as the price of bitcoin is still increasing so it is the proof the the user of bitcoin is also increasing, which is making bitcoin more a and more powerful, so there are very little chance that bitcoin will ever be replace by any other cryto currency. |

ofcource it can but on the current market prices it doesnt seems any cryptocurrency even near of it but still probabilty is always more than half that this incident can hit us anytime.the future is in our hands and we should take wise but clever desecion

i think bitcoin is on very perfect position and i am sure no one can be replace it because bitcoin is on very good and top position in place of crypto currency and bitcoin is very much powerful and useful currency and i see that bitcoin is acceptable in everywhere than other currency.

yes that is also a fact that in present time bitcoin is one of the most popular cryopt currency of the world, and hope that it will become more and more popular currency of the world. Bitcoin is not just one of the most popular crypto currency rather it is the most popular crypto currency in the world because when am introducing crypto currency to an individual i would talk about how the first crypto currency came into existence and how the genius behind is unknown to the real world and its economic implications on real world rather than talking about any other coins.so people learning about digital currency they will learn about bitcoin and hence the price is soaring at this level |

Another cryoto-currencies won't take the popularity of Bitcoin. At least for now, but we don't know what will happen in the future. The technology is unpredictable. Another currency can come with many advantages for crypto-currency enthusiasts and Bitcoin can lose the podium. I believe it will happen and Bitcoin will be replaced, but not in this decade or in the next. We will make a lot of profit with Bitcoin yet as the most famous crypto-currency.  |

has anyone imagined the problem of the heavy transaction flow in the bitcoin blockchain? i would believe that if the blockchain is larger, fewer people will be able to use the bitcoin core, or use the chain-free wallet. at least it won't matter bitcoin yet could lessen the decentralization of bitcoin blockchain.

I thought about that either and upon reading an article that thousands of transaction that has not been confirmed yet, many are complaining about it. It is a problem for us who are not being patiently waiting for our transactions to get confirmed. But thinking outside the box, That is a good news because it seems that more and more people are transacting with the use of bitcoin. |

I do not think there is another crypto coin can replaced bitcoin on the top since bitcoin is the mother of cryto currency and the services are very good and the demand are continuous increasing also the users are increasing too. For me no other coin can make it on the top like bitcoin.

yes i am also agree with you. although some people are expecting some other currency which i never like to introduce here but to me it is not possible that bitcoin can be replace by any other currency, as bitcoin is too good and is in progress in a good way. |

It all depends on the technological advancement of the new digital currency and if bitcoin's blockchain has too many problems and becomes to cumbersome and slow. Many factors will determine this in the future but for now I believe Bitcoin will dominate for the next 15/20 years but that's just my 2 bit lol.

I believe a good technology coin can be done by any good developers, however with bitcoin it has already gain the trust of the people and it has been proven that we can make money with bitcoin, so those who are holding their bitcoins will not sell their shares to continue making money, unless there's some flaws you can find with bitcoin. |

The possibilities bitcoin being replaced by some other crypto currency is very low, because following bitcoin and its advancing technology lots of other digital currencies came into existence among which only few lasted long, most others got vanished in a very short time period.

for the moment I do not see the potential of other coins that can replace bitcoin. but someday it will happen, because there may be coins easier to obtain and use of the bitcoin. maybe if there is a coin like that, seekers bitcoin will begin to focus on the coin, and most likely, the coin will replace bitcoin
