I stop it when my target is achieved. I remind myself not to be greedy. When I have consecutive losses I set an amount that I can afford to lose. It's important to set this two amounts before starting to bet and set my mind and be firm with my decision so that I will not regret in the end. This satisfies me as well.

okay set a target , the problem is to do it consistently
because noone knows if today you reach the target , but in the next few days you might did not
when you did not reach the target usually people just keep chasing

I doubt there is limit for someone who gambles. When you are in that moment you cant stop it. Specially, when you are already winning or losing a lot of money. You want to get it back when losing and you want more when winning. That is all greed.
