How do you know when to stop?

You know when to stop in two situations. In the first one you achieve your objective that you had set before, i.e to make 500 USD for today and then you stop. Second situation is when you are losing consecutively and you decide that is better to stop. The extreme situation is when you lose everything to your last penny and this is where you must seek professional help.

I do stop whenever I feel bored or continue loosing games. I always bet with small amount and cash out when I reach my targeted amount. I have lost some serious amount in past and learned from my mistakes that if you continue playing even after wining some big amounts then you'll surely loose in the end so set yourself some limit then stop playing.

It is better to stop completely if you could because we cant win so setting the upper limit of some profit to stop is not the best thing to do. In the end we need to think that gambling is just for entertainment so it is better to set limit on your bankroll , by doing this you are limiting the risk of losing alot of money when you are playing

Practice makes perfect and doing a hard thing everyday will make it easy on the next days.  We just need to get used to it.  Discipline I believe is a matter of control practive.  So I guess we can start it by setting up limits and go with that limit.


I stop when I hit the target winning or loses all my allocated bankroll.  Meeting one of this two means gameover for me in gambling on that session.

Im playing bustabit with some altcoins, wich they offer free of the coin to gamble, i do remember had reached a nice ammount, but well looks like im not able to control myself, i were gamble and i let into one goal, next day i reached the other, and i tryed two more times, the funny thing is if i lost 100 i make the bet bigger soo i take less risk, but well its the seventh time i do reach some balance and end loosing all, i need to change my goal and focus into small steps instead try to jump all in.

you might start to gamble with the free money provided there but still i'm sure sooner or later you would think to gamble with your own funds , that's the part of marketing strategy on how to make people interested and addicted later on. at that point i can't see any chance for anyone to stop it easily.

That's very good idea to start with little and free money and yes sooner or later it becomes really addicting. As for me if i will always put a limit of what is only i can afford to loss and or if i think the situation is not good that there is already no chance of winning, then that is the time i will need to stop betting and better luck next time and observed the situation again.

Some people will only larn about how bad this thing are when they have experienced it already. I am one of those kind of people as well. I dont listen to anyone until It happens to me. Actually, I always do gambling with low amount which I can afford to lose.Like I do gamble with 0.05BTC and I do gamble till my 0.05 BTC get finished.Again,If my profit start rising then I stopped gambling when I have 0.1BTC on my balance.I know it's really hard to stop gambling but I can control myself because once I were empty hand for gambling.But in my off day or vacation I do gambling nonstop untill my balance became Zero.

This is it. Like smoking or drinking alcohol, leaving gambling is same as them. You can’t just make it even you are thinking about it from a long time. Every gambler when play for more than 5-6 years then he/she comes to know about the reality of gambling and then there is nothing interesting for them in gambling. well i might say im one of that few,who limits my self when playing.coz i only do gambling for enjoyment and winnings is just a bonus.im not a typical gambler who plays for living or to eager to win.im not hypocrite to say that i dont wanna win.but if win is for me so be it,but if not im fine

that's good practice mate, limit yourself and focus with thinking about your goal, never become affected of certain losses or being greedy when you are

it's a good strategy to save yourself from massive loss. You are good, to put this rules and follow it. Personally, I always set limits before i start gambling, so far, I didn't achieve it. I always save as i can, and gamble in the best event in a good time, I mean by that Live games.

I have only gradually learned to control myself in gambling. Earlier it was difficult to stop. But I managed to overcome myself and now, even when I lose, I do not hurry to recoup.
