Inno should be covering the cost to get the miners reflashed. That is what Chloe indicated in her email. Hopefully Lightfoot will be hearing from Inno soon.
It might be helpful if someone were to compile a list of locations and number of units that need to be shipped to a central point (Lightfoot?), and back and provide that to Chloe. It's probably pointless getting shipping quotes as I'd assume Inno would use thier DHL discount to keep the costs low. Haven't heard from them since Saturday, so don't send things to me :-) . My main question to them was how do they intend to fix (hat on the mcu, swap the mcu, reprogram via jtag, reprogram using jig), number of fixes needed per board (one component or several), any traces that need to be laid/landed, and number of boards to figure out if/how/what cost I can do it. Meantime there are always Titans to fix :-)

Because of costs/downtime to ship the miners off... I would rather get my own jig so I can do it myself as its already going to require me to make a couple of trips to my facility to pickup the A4, take it offsite for the modifications and testing, then to return it again.
It is likely not a specific jig? What is mnfg or parts? Perhaps you all should just eat the price of one jig anyway. It likely would be a wash in lost mining time. But you'd have a jig. Not sure might just be a wash price vs lost time sending it to someone to get flashed. So those with one is this possible?

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

You could pass that info off to gen Tarkin imho

So those with one is this possible?
No, I don't think so. Inside the case there is what appears to be a modified A4 card which is wired into the Jig, so replicating that is going to be your first hurdle. I suggest a little patience to let Inno sort out some agents in the US, UK, etc to perform the work (there's a wider A4 owner group than just this forum) and let them drive the resolution. In my experience Inno have turned this around pretty quickly so far. It might not seem like it but multiple hardware, firmware and software versions in 6 weeks is pretty quick. That said, if anyone is desperate I'd be happy to flash cards if you can send them to me in NZ. Just PM me.

Are you running Batch 3? Any dropouts or restarts yet? What are you running for MV? Thanks Not sure if batch 2 or 3. Where can i see it? Version 2.0.2 and no restarts working fine at 45-48oC in basement

Sounds like they are going to have us ship our miners to be flashed. I haven't heard any additional details yet.

Do a ebay search for "2880w". There are a bunch of these out there for less than $100. As they supply 2880w, they can host up to 2.5 miners (5 cubes). Many come with the adapter cards to get a bunch of PCI power connectors.

Thanks for that link. I have tried looking for the boards separately but not had any luck. I have 2 of the 2880W PSU's running my A4's with no problems... However, because of the need for power cycling the A4 rigs, I have been thinking about getting some of the HP 1200W server PSU's and a breakout board for them so that I can individually cycle a single A4 rather than the PSU attached to 2.5 A4s... Im also considering bying additional PI controllers so I can run smaller rigs, which makes the power cycling easier and less of an impact.

Maybe we should start a list of how many B1 and B2 miners need re-flashing and where you live so we have a better idea how to move forward. Any word from Chloe? This should not be taking so long they need to make this right

Personally I know they are shipping a jig to perform the upgrades to a group of us in Canada. And we are suppose to pass it along to anyone we know also in Canada needing the upgrade. I am not sure about the states and the group buy but all it takes is an email to them.

Please take some pix and instructions of how to use the jig. I haven't heard anything about it yet other than there is some kind of jig. I did hear that Chloe was looking for someone in the US to be a clearing house for the fix, but nothing beyond that.

We need someone from the USA now that knows how to perform this fix. I already put in a email to Chloe about the fix but have not herd back.. We need others from the USA to contact Chloe about getting one for the States.. I will take delivery of it but would do no good as I dont know how to do the flash fix.. Who in the USA can do this fix? Maybe its not that hard? If not I will take one here and do it
