Sometimes the news makes me know good information. but the news sometimes makes false news, I thought it was one of his weaknesses. many people now believe the news and mass media can be bought by money.

We shouldn't be surprised because that's whats happening everyday. Media being brought or something have an alliance to other party that's why they put an immediate hate when the news is against with the alliance they have.

I could not agree more. But this is not to mean that I don't trust the media. Of course, there are a number of journalists that report fairly and squarely. Some media reporters even risk their lives going to places where few dare to go. We heard it, we watched the unfortunate death of some journalists while performing their duties. I salute them.

But this is bad to say that there are also some bad personnel and people on the top in media agencies that are selective as to what newsworthy to aired to public. I just hate that even if the news seems favorable to me and my fellow. It is just not right ethically.

There are times that some of them are paid to write and cover an event.  some news if not most are exaggerated as they may. 
So I always see the news with a businessman's perspective. Wit hit, it give me the idea as to what could be happening in the background.

The medias are completely money-minded as they would only publish the news that worth them more money whether the news is accurate and precise or not.
However the medias are often interested in making news that may be extraordinary which my draw attentions of thier customers and in reality we people also

There is no such thing as independent media. They all depend on whatever political views their owners or sponsors have. That's why you should never trust to a single source of information, always check what others are saying.

I really don't think that we can find real info or truth in media.
In fact, I believe that most people today are brainwashed by media today to accept some so called ''universal rights'' or to accept that government have to decide about everything, or to believe in democracy etc.
People just accept everything they heard in media, or from politicians, without any thinking.
So sad reality.

The news shown to us are filtered and manipulated by the media. The news is the tool to fool the people and keep the truth hidden. In reality most of the news channel are owned by the same group of people who doesn't want the general public to speak against the biased government system.

Is there any other way to figure the truth out without newspapers, tv broadcasts, etc ?
Sometimes its good to have some news about international issues from a bunch of sites or news channels tho

Take extra precautions on perceiving news from all forms of Media, Let be social media, Media Broadcasting Stations unless its a government own institution, newspapers and etc. Nevertheless exert more effort on validating these news by comparing it to one another regardless of its form or source. Most of these days, news are propaganda driven, because as we all now these kinds of news are very profitable on their part. May it be Positive or negative.

Ofcourse, media who make the news still a way of gathering information. I don't believe in them but I make this a way of getting information and basing the situation on what I know.

See those news when terrorist bomb Paris there's an immediate international report but when US made an Air Strike on Syria and lots of people died there's no new nor international report being made on our TV's.

Yeah, but there's still a part of the news where they say a little part of the truth and that's what you need to use to based the situation. So just like what others say you need to compare same news to different medias that aired it, to be able to know and think what's exactly happened.

absolutely not.. the whole mass media are doctoring news that have been published by them. They are manipulating the society with their misinformations . actually, politicians and rich ones manipulate the mass media . All of them are deceiving the society.

Exactly the politicians and rich men are manipulating the news according to their wish. The truth is never spilled out by these mainstream media. These men who influence the news is shaping the society or country for their greed. They are brainwashing people to think in a certain way. Media is also the source of peoples justice. I think crime rates and social problems would be much more higher in absence of media. Media is only unsupported during war time. And I dont think media is influenced by power or pressure, they are just independent of anything.

Depends if you are talking about TV media or let's say,internet.
TV media is corrupted because this is the best way for politics to encourage society to vote on them,so media in TV are not independent at all,radio i would say it depends,the internet one's are pretty ok though.

Most of the news on TV is biased in my opinion. They don't call out politicians because many of them are friends and they also want access. If they offend a politician, then they can't get them back for an interview and the ratings will drop.

some time yes some time no. actually the problem is that our media is not independent. there fore they are not fully trusted. in some issues they broad coast false news. which have not a single element of reality.
