Do you believe the news ?

There is a lot of news on the news now. It helps you understand many things. You can see how the world is going. But I only believe 50% in the news. Since this news is not true anymore it has changed a lot. So consider the information on the net.

I'm from Ukraine and I do not believe the news.Now in my country, not only civil war,but and information.Every TV channel is trying to lie,every newspaper publishes is not fully tested news.Even fired a journalist with a news channel,when she criticized Poroshenko.

I think that this is happening in many countries, because in fact we don't have democracy...the leaders want to control everything and therefore they cut opinions that don't fit them or can discredit them even if it's true

I do not think that the media are totally free,you can see every day whats going on about the breaking news,fake news and other things.Not all is clear

Not always. More precisely never, because basically there they lie If it's a national channel or a newspaper, then everyone talks as the state dictates to them. There, all show what is beneficial to the president or the authorities. Many hide and lie a lot. They do not benefit that people know the truth

Currently the media that we can trust is very limited, because the media have business interests in the media company. We know that all parties can publish any news by paying some money, this is no longer a secret, all people of course already know. But we all hope all media are not like that, to maintain the level of public trust in the media company. There is one news agency I still believe in - the BBC. However even the BBC has been accused of bias in a number of situations, not sure if these are baseless or not. Most of the other news agencies I would be very careful listening to, many have clear bias and sensationalise where possible. People want noisy, dirty news, not happy stories of success. They want crime, immigration etc as headlines.

I beleive in the news especially those news about the real-life happenings. Mostly, media are contolled by business tycoons, politicians and the government. Believing on the news is still the viewers choice. If you are a wise viewer, then you'll know what to believe or not.

Some of them are independent, but noone watching them, most popular media belong either to international corporations or getting bought by corps.
