I have quite opposed view to Factom, as you can see from my post. Just marketing scam.
On the other hand, I like VRC/VRM idea.

scrypt² is exactly what we stated it would be a memory hard version of scrypt.  The other key innovation is the variable blocktime and the blocktime dependent rewards.

Some as above clearly are not seeing the value, in response I will pose a challenge.
Show me a PoW that:

-Uses this little electric (more profit)
-Yet requires moderate to high quality hardware or large quantity of low quality hardware
-Has a consensus this decentralized
-Has thus far been successfully solomined only, over a week into mainnet
-GPU mining is slower and a wasteful loss of electric if you can get it running at all
-Has a an ICO based price floor of near 100k sat

I run the built-in wallet mining program for more than 24 hours, but I found nothing, I stress is 706.367H/m, what is the reason.

I ran 440H/m for 5days no blocks, then 3blocks in 6hours, I guess no block for a week now Cheesy

Got to help "Check for update", or http://www.vericoin.info/veriumlaunch.html to download new Verium wallet 1.0.1.  Minor bug fixes and maintenance update for enhanced connectivity, security and full "Blockchain Reload" support.

Updated worked fine for me on Windows.
On Linux machines it is saying, that there are dependencies missing like libssl etc.
Did you change the dependencies for the 1.0.1 precompiled wallet?

Ubuntu warns me about dependencies as well. I could not install. I am going on with v1.0.0

Are you guys on 32bit or 64bit and what version of Ubuntu?

64 bit ubuntu 14.04, 64 bit verium client

Download 64bit Linux again i might have resolved dependency problem. http://www.vericoin.info/veriumlaunch.html

Thank you,

tested new wallet on 5 linux machines: 64bit version running like a charm, thank you =)

**edit***
I was able to test 6 different CPUs on hardware machines and some VMs.
Best VM i found can go for 700-900h/m for about 23$, not to bad i think Wink
Best tested Intel cpu (non xeon) can go for 1200-1300h/m.
If there is interest, i can post my hashrate experiences here.

It does not look like it to me. Sure there might be some larger miners but the current network hashrate is only around 200 times the hashrate of my home PC.
Its just that solo mining requires a lot of luck. Going 200 or 300% over the average difficulty is normal. Other times you might find several blocks within a very short time.

So unless you got a very high hashrate two days without a block are perfectly common.

Just FYI...I talked to Emily from Shapeshift on slack and she confirmed that Vericoin has not be delisted from Shapeshift and is currently down for maintenance. She's going to look into why its taking so long. I also asked her about adding a Vericoin/Verium trading pair and she is passing it off to her team to look in to.
