What is C-CEX on? This is ridiculous from them, won't ever use that exchange again.
Thinking about opening a scam accusation on them.
CCEX is overworked. Do you see the massive amount of shit they’ve got for trade. It can’t be easy keeping all of it up-to-date and semi-working. I suspect they wanted an easy-to-integrate vanilla NXT clone from HEAT. When they didn’t get that, they looked for any reason they could to get out since they don’t have the staff to integrate anything new. Customers and partners be damned! Hell, I think they might actually lack the competent staff to apply a multiplier to customer database fields. Shoestring operation, for sure. I’m not going anywhere near that trash exchange ever again. I think it was a contract agreement to provide a basic nxt api with heat. I would love to hear the ccex version of all this as there are always at least two sides of the story. In my opinion what ccex did is a dickmove. But the heat team made a lot of dickmoves too... So can you really honestly say that ccex is alone to blame for this? No, C-CEX is not alone to blame. There is enough of that to go around. Certainly the HEAT project delays bear some, too. But C-CEX didn't act in good faith. First, they issue an ultimatum in form of deadline. Then they remain unresponsive until the final moments leading up to that deadline. When they finally do respond, the HEAT team whipped out compatible API changes in 15 minutes. We will never know the full extent of the contracts or discussions. From the outside looking in, C-CEX looks pretty bad here. Too many customers totally screwed. Yeah customers are pretty screwed, those customers who bought heat directly! C-CEX austomers are not screwed at all, they can sell for the ico price and don't have to worry a thing. They can also buy if they want! They have a choice, we that bought directly have no choice! And WE who bought directly receive no updates from the heat team what happens! WE are screwed, ccex customers are not! I wish I bought at ccex right now! In my opinion, if you look at it from an outside perspective, if you had nothing to do with heat, ccex looks pretty good here! If they offer to participate in an ico with them you know you will at the very least get your investment back! IF I will ever participate in an ico again, which is very unlikely to happen after this disaster, I would consider to buy at ccex! Not entirely sure this is true. They gave no clear explanation of what will they do in 14 days. I have coins there and I want them out with 1.5 multiplier. For now it sounds like dump into first days ICO price or loose it all. In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

C-CEX current stance is pretty clear: "HEAT ICO Failed. No wallet provided. Buy wall in place:" This tells me they don't plan to multiply or integrate with their exchange. They want out, and giving customers a way to do that with the buy wall. Now maybe, if enough people bitch about it, they'll change their mind. The buy wall is supposed to be up for two weeks. Keep an eye on prices elsewhere, sell C-CEX HEAT for BTC if you can repurchase HEAT cheaper somewhere else. Or wait out, see if they change their mind. (But do sell into that wall by Feb 9th if nothing changes). |

Yes C-Cex really needs to explain what they are planning to do. Like you I just want the HEAT I paid for, but without the multiplier they are forcing people to dump it even if they allow us to withdraw it. |

C-CEX hasn't been willing to multiply their client stakes despite our requests. They now have have access to slightly over 1 500 000 HEAT in live mainnet as compared to the 995 000 HEAT tokens on their exchange. We have no idea where the half a million extra is gonna go and who will have access to it - remaining holders, C-CEX as a bonus for well performed business agreement, or Heat Ledger Ltd.
can you work on a replace. Bittrex could be nice. |

Yes. Alcurex and OpenLedger have both applied 1.5x multiplier. In preparations for HEAT launch, Alcurex adjusted the 1.50x HEAT token multiplier yesterday Jan 17th. Openledger 1.50x adjustment is imminent at 14.00 CET today. I'll try. I'm a Linux guy and this is untested, so no promises. This relies on HEAT server, so is probably unnecessarily complex. (Hope they churn out a fancy light client like they did with FIMK -- is a heck of a lot easier for newbies). The heatledger server should run on Windows (read the quick notes and download from here): https://github.com/Heat-Ledger-Ltd/heatledger/releasesUnzip it. See the readme here (notes for java installation): https://github.com/Heat-Ledger-Ltd/heatledger/blob/master/README.mdAdd a new heat.properties file in the conf/ folder (next to heat-default.properties). Only one line for now: Run the heat server: bin/heatledger.bat ..... Okay, so now you should have a running HEAT server on your windows computer. Now use the HTTP API to start forging. Open the following URL in a private browser window (replace THIS%20IS%20THE%20PASSPHRASE with your account passphrase. Spaces turn into %20): http://localhost:7733/api/v1/mining/start/THIS%20IS%20THE%20PASSPHRASEIf you get a JSON response that includes "deadline" and "hitTime", it probably worked! The C-Cex situation isn't very complicated. 1. ICO Failed - return BTC 2. If they intend on applying a multiplier, they certainly wouldn't do it until the buy wall is removed, that would result in a huge loss for them. With that said, it will surely be interesting to hear what they intend on doing with the excess heat that was supposed to be multiplied. I for one want my coins along with the multiplier as that is why I purchased the tokens there. If you also want your coins with the multiplier from C-Cex I suggest you express that on their twitter https://twitter.com/CryptoCurrEncyX quickly as that is the best way to publicly make your wishes known. If enough ICO token holders press the matter, I'm sure they would accommodate. @heatteam - You are mainly responsible for this circus and you need to get it together asap. You missed deadlines, waited until the last day to launch and seek out lines of communication with C-Cex. Your lack of communication with the heat community, exchanges and press was and is irresponsible. You had ample funding to hire a community manager, marketers, bounties and developers. I as an heat investor I ask that you please immediately take corrective measures to fix this debacle and make all parties whole. Silence and/or finger pointing won't make this go away, we as a community, you as the developers and C-Cex need to bring this to a satisfactory close, but I believe that starts with you. The ball is in your court. |

Sorry but this has been demonstrated over and over again. Let's focus on the important thing, what would you propose them to do? I for once would propose they do the same as c-cex and refund the investors that want a refund. It seems like many don't want to be refunded, fine. Refunding the once that want the refund has several advantages, the biggest one, they stop trolling in this forum! Also with investors that still believe in the project they would have a little bit smaller community, but this community supports them, rendering it much more efficient. Less people can be easier coordinated and form a stronger bond. With the HEAT they receive back they can start marketing campaigns together with the community. Also they can open bug bounties and other activities! Yeah I know, you would expect things like that to be presented by svantje "hercules" lehtin as he is the "manager", but trust me he is completely incompetent of presenting actual solutions and a master at ignoring problem. If they don't support this, ask them why? This is a good solution, the only reason not to do this is pure greed! And don't get distracted if they want to ignore this again, I was persistent too and have learned that this is the only way to get an answer from the heat heads! Edit: MAybe it is also time to think about the upcoming IPO? If this continues, do you really think anybody will participate in the IPO? Seriously? Not just the IPO, if you plan anything after the IPO I would recommend you to once in your life make the right decission! |
