Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Ah, okay.

You can see if your node is known by the web wallet server by searching for your IP address here:
https://heatwallet.com/nodes.cgi

You can also watch the explorer to see if your account generates blocks (frequency dependent on your balance):
https://heatwallet.com/#/explorer

And then there's the forge report by synace:
Hey all, I'm the one running the current "forge report". I built it for myself to have a better understanding of the "ROI" for forging. If you have any requests/suggestions, let me know. I'll improve it in iterations as I have time. I'm a pretty small investor, but I've got technical abilities.

Gladly accepting tips at 7052876572805488467 if you enjoy the report!

A few minutes ago we've released the Client + Server Wallet package (preview) at

https://github.com/Heat-Ledger-Ltd/heatwallet/releases

And new client at:

https://github.com/Heat-Ledger-Ltd/heat-ui/releases

Asset exchange is preliminarily enabled for some asset types. Next version will enable all assets including the traditional ones of HEAT /Asset.

BTC/HEAT decentralized market should work.

https://heatwallet.com/#/trader/5592059897546023466/0

Getting BTC in and out is centralized & experimintal at this point and may incur delays.

Further release notes with instructions and more info will follow within some days. Getting this release out was as exhausting as it can get for several weeks without proper rest for either of us HEAT core team.

FIMKTARD:
Heat Ledger Ltd operates gateway for BTC loads and redemptions to / from the Decentralized HEAT Asset Exchange. Contact support@heatledger.com for details.

As far as the Finnish Company Register tells us the companies name is actuall Heat Ledger LIMITED and the company form is Oy. So I guess you should stop tricking people into
believing they are interacting with a well regulated british Ltd. and show them that you scumbags are actually a finnish construct.

Yes, but not from only heat-ui as you need the server installed either previously, or for simpler config the whole server + client package from https://github.com/Heat-Ledger-Ltd/heatwallet/releases

The LOAD BTC button which is used to convert Bitcoins to Heat Ledger backed BTC asset on the exchange, seems to be broken on the downloadable client until next release. It works on the web wallet at https://heatwallet.com

Unattended processing of incoming BTC may be delayed during the night for security reasons. This unfortunately affects the buy side of the exchange. Also remember to include sufficient fee for the btc transfer or it takes ages to confirm (it does so despite moderately high fee from my recent observations)
