Any word on an updated wallet that will forge
A updated wallet will be out tomorrow but you can fix the current one by updating the blockchain and tweaking some settings. perfect. moved my openledger funds to wallet, bought more on built in exchange, just need way to forge now and all is good. exciting times. But there is no Withdraw option at Openledger. How did you do it?

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Let me get this straight. If I see something like this: [{"deadline":1873,"account":"16551254318043834362","remaining":1822,"hitTime":100988502}] It means my account is successfully forging? Because my wallet output looks like this: ... Yes but the question is if you're on the "right" chain which will probably take over and is at height 27581 now. But there is no Withdraw option at Openledger. How did you do it?

FINAL REMINDEROnly 3 days till C-CEX closes the refund process and multiplies all HEAT IOU there.
If you want to sell your HEAT IOU - sell it now. Current sell price is about 0.00010937.
If you are looking to buy some more HEAT - buy it from C-CEX now and they will multiply it by x1.5 in 3 days. For every 1 BTC spent on HEAT on C-CEX you will get 1.5 BTC worth of HEAT.

Good idea! As someone who is new to heat, I would not mind that. All coins attract comments that aren't helpful. I'd prefer a discussion of the coin, rather than hyping or so called "fudding".

This sounds very strange. Can someone explain? Not strange at all. You could buy HEAT in multiple ways: - directly from the devs - using escrow of well known exchanges Because not all available HEAT was sold during ICO, a multplier was applied to those who bought in ICO. For every 1 HEAT bought you were actually given 1.5 HEAT. The devs applied this multiplier before they released the coin and so did all the exchanges that were partners in the presale. Only exception was C-CEX, which because of all the delays decided to let people decide if they want to keep their HEAT or get the BTC back. In a couple of days they will change HEAT IOU to normal HEAT and apply the multiplier, that's why people on C-CEX will get additional coins.

Ok.. If I understand the OP correctly there are 25 million heat to be distributed from the genesis block and another 25 million will be produced over the next 4 years. How many heat are in existence now, and how many will there be once the coins on c-cex are multiplied?

There'll be a clarification period of a few months for any unclaimed stakes, that are assigned genesis block accounts and held in custody by Heat Ledger Ltd until their owners are sufficiently identified.
^ hey Eliphaz hopefully this is still the case? You have to to write to their support to claim them.

They already exist and are included in those 25 millions, they were simply not distributed to the users yet. C-CEX is holding them right now and shall add it to balances of every HEAT holder on their exchange.

At the moment it a bit hard as the network is having some issues. There should be an update to fix some of the issues later today. Usually you can check the blockheight here https://heatwallet.com/#/explorerBut it looks off at the moment. Alternatively you can check here http://heatbrowser.com/report.htmlIt updated every 5 mins I think and is at the moment the best place to check.

This thread has died out because of various incidents and I think it would be a good thing to start a new clean moderated version that would focus on the future of the project.
Good idea! As someone who is new to heat, I would not mind that. All coins attract comments that aren't helpful. I'd prefer a discussion of the coin, rather than hyping or so called "fudding". Moderated threads on BCT always look sketchy to me, because there's no public record of what the moderator is allowing and what they are deleting. Most projects with a lot of investors on BCT have unmoderated threads with 200+ pages filled with ~50% crap that no one bothers to go back and read through anyways. I like BCT as a free speech message board. People can go to slack or heat forum if they want moderated discussion: https://heatslack.herokuapp.com/http://heatledger.net/
