Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Who is solo mining atm?

How many pools we have now? 2?
I will contact ocminer, maybe he can do something to get more activity to this with a nice working pool (acc pool is also working good, but more is never wrong i guess)..

http://ele.acc-pool.pw/#/

stratum+tcp://stratum.acc-pool.pw:9999   address  pass: x

http://ele.coin-miners.info/#/

stratum+tcp://stratum.coin-miners.info:8010    address  pass: x

anyone got the sample for setup, been tried both pool but not working right
i rent hash from nicehash

149.202.154.178:9999   Remote pool terminated connection. Trying to reestablish soon

please, refer to
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1546126.msg15765845#msg15765845

thank you for your interest!

If you want to mine by renting hash from nicehash dont forget to use as a pasword "#"  and now you can mine with claymore miner

For use the claymore miner, be sure to have the next line in the .bat:
-dpsw 1 -esm 0 -allpools 1 -mode 1 -allcoins 1

for what i know -esm 0 is needed to let the claymore miner work for elementrem
-mode 1 will let u miner only elementrem and not + decred.

Correct me if i'm wrong pls.

My total .bat file for the claymore miner:

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool stratum.acc-pool.pw:9999 -ewal 0xF4789b95826C4474B3E7C780Fd90f639b51C4B6c -epsw x -dpool http://dcr.suprnova.cc:9111 -dwal minerjoen.thuis -dpsw 1 -esm 0 -allpools 1 -mode 1 -allcoins 1

Just change the -ewal and ur good to go (or use a other pool, whatever u want)

If any help is needed, PM me or just post here (if u pm me, and if the problem get solved i will also post it in here).

I mean, that it is not a problem if supernova will add his site/pool for elementrem (if he want ofc).

For what i find is that there is not really a different between the miners.
Atm i am still testing solo mining with the eleminer.exe but the normall ethminer and claymore miner is also working on pools (solo didnt work for what i tested in a few minutes).

If i test my claymore miner or ethminer to acc pool it also working good. On the coin-miner pool i tought i had problems with disconnections (on acc pool not). Could be i had something wrong, but if i just change the pool name to acc, all disconnection problems are gone.

Solo mining works the best for me at this moment, give me more then pool mining.. But this is just the beginning Cheesy When more people start to mine, ofc i will switch directly to a pool.

Edit: that i say: more is never wrong, i didnt mean to say there is something wrong with acc pool ( ur pool is working good, nothing wrong ). But suprnova, i dont know, i know him (i mean: his pool) since the first days. Its a good guy with a big, big activity on his website.
Elementrem need more activity, at this moment i dont even need an exchange.. I prefer to go with a nice, big, trustfull community to the exchange.

Depending on the tool chosen to support the identified blockchain processes,
selected products could exceed expectations or fail miserably.

But, I believe elementrem profits will exceed expectations.
I will continue to make every effort to exceed your expectations, like hashrate.
So continue to watch elementrem. Grin

No pool support Nicehash ?

Nicehash is supporting just ethereum , no support for elementrem sry

NiceHash fully supports any Ethereum fork / altcoin; and supports several stratum variants (we're mentioning also Ethereum pools below, just for reference, we're aware that this thread is about ELE, but pool technology is the same)

0- the "early stratum" (it was used by ethpool, ethermine, coinotron, mph, nanopool)
1.1- the eth-proxy (aka dwarfpool) style (used by dwarfpool and some other pools)
1.2- the eth-proxy-sammy (used by all pools, based on open-source https://github.com/sammy007/open-ethereum-pool; for example https://ethc.coin-miners.info, http://ethc.epool.io/, etc.)
2- the standardized EthereumStratum/1.0.0: this is the preferred one, documented here, supported by coinotron, hitchpool, etc.)

You can setup your pool for using on a NiceHash order like this:

https://i.imgur.com/5FE90Bi.png

WARNING: this CoinMiners Elementrem Pool seems to be poorly configured since it's dropping connection. So, CoinMiners, please make a testing order from NiceHash to your pool and fix the disconnects. Also, check out this sammy's pool issue:

https://github.com/sammy007/open-ethereum-pool/issues/42#issuecomment-235638427

and implement this fix:

https://github.com/sammy007/open-ethereum-pool/pull/48

Best regards,
NiceHash team.
