The "Popular bet" messages are what will make me leave this book.  It sometimes makes it impossible to hedge Live Betting which totally
defeats the purpose in the first place to have that wagering option....

I have 6 wagers waiting to be graded from over 4 hours ago (Pro Bowl) and I've since emailed them with no reply.  You have a great reputation but slowly bigger and better books will pop up.

You guys needs more employees I think...

I agree, the popular bet thing is really annoying and it happened on a bet I really wanted the other day.  Need to do something about this, whether it be limit someone to a certain amount so there is more left over for other people, etc.

We appreciate the feedback from everyone. BitBook has been growing in popularity, which has led to an increase in users hitting the "Popular Bet" message. We can understand that this is a common point of frustration, and we will work hard to increase our limits.

While it would be easy for us to simply accept every bet, our top priority is managing BitBook responsibly. We hate to cause frustration for our users, but we are committed to avoiding irresponsible risks. BitBook always has and always will pay out every bet we accept and provide quick seamless access to funds.

Again, we appreciate the feedback and we will be working to limit these instances in the future.

I hope you are fully prepared for Super Bowl Sunday.  Because I plan on wagering using your book and if the "Popular Bet" option prevents me from making a wager (.001 or 2 BTC) I will be taking my business elsewhere.  Never had that problem with 5 Dimes and plan on putting some back-up money in there for the Super Bowl cause while your site is quick and easy, the unreliability factor outweighs the potential for financial gain.  Which is what we're all here for and why Bitbook makes a ton of money....

@bitbook.biz

maybe we should talk, I think I could solve your liquidity issues
for the popular leagues (NFL, NBAA, NCAA).

(= taking parts of the action)

That way you would be offer to able better limits for the players.
As you can see on the last pages this has become a problem for more
and more players.

Wondering why you wouldn't send him a PM as opposed to putting it out there for all to see?  If Bitbook was going to do something like that they'd probably not want everyone to know about it...

Is there any official word on Super Bowl prop bets??  This is the biggest betting weekend of the year, and I might have to take my business elsewhere.

I have been a loyal customer for over 6 months and I have had zero problems.  I recommend bitbook over all the other bitcoin sportsbooks to all my friends.

However, with the recent change in odds (for the worse), there are other sites that offer a wider variety of bets (prop bets for soccer, mma, etc) and better odds on the spread.  I'm contemplating trying out other sites, but I don't really want to because you guys have been so great.

Is there any chance you guys will be going back to the pinnacle odds?

Could you guys please add props for the Super Bowl?

Specifically I'm interested in the following (both from Bovada):

How long will it take Renee Fleming to sing the official US National Anthem?
over 2 minutes 25 seconds +100
under 2 minutes 25 seconds -140

and

What will be the temperature at Kickoff?
over 32F -120
under 32F -120

You clearly don't know the climate very well, those odds would be kind of off. Under would be a much better bet.

At kickoff?  I'll take that bet with you.  Wanna find a reputable member to escrow it for us?

I noticed you hadn't graded the Reid/Mitchell tennis match that ended around an hour and a half ago, I'm guessing because Mitchell retired halfway through the 2nd set.  Just wanted to bring it to your attention.  Thanks.

Yeah, would appreciate it if you guys could grade that wager. Speaking of tennis, are there any plans for you to expand your betting options to include set betting and possibly some other props?

We are not currently planning to offer props. We know these are popular and can be very fun, but our current #1 focus is on the core betting options. This means making sure that we offer high limits, fair odds, and quick settling for the most popular bets. We expect the Superbowl to be the most popular event of the year, so we are focused in ensuring that we can provide great service around the core betting options.

Similarly, we are not currently offering NBA futures, but we may consider adding these at some point. Our focus with NBA is on the core betting options - spread, moneyline, and totals - as well as Live betting.

This match has been settled. We have automated grading for most tennis matches, but matches ending in retirement require manual review and as a result can take longer to grade.

We plan to look into adding Set betting. Thanks for the feedback.
