ETC is regularly in the top 5-10 coins by trading volume, yet its market cap is only 2-3% of the ETH market cap which is usually only marginally above it in trading volume. If you look at other similar cases, Ripple/ Stellar or Bitcoin/ Bcash, you see that they are much closer in value despite (in the case of Stellar at least) unimpressive market trading volume. Seems like ETC is way undervalued despite it being A) the original chain B) more committed to the original ideal of censorship resistance, and C) more community driven and less susceptible to administrative tampering. Can anyone explain this discrepancy?

About the price? It's really simple, Ethereum is over inflted because of ICOs (this mean that there's demand for ETH). For ETC right there's no demand, it's the truth, tight now it's just a speculative asset

Actually man, that question suits in the mining section. But actually, are you sure that you're getting only 23 kilo hash rate on ethash? Isn't it mega? If it's kilo, you shouldn't expect anything specially per hour (or even a day) as it seems like you're using an outdated hardware for mining.

Is this some kind of joke?  Huh

With 23KH/s you will get 0 coins on monthly base
With 23MH/s maybe 1-1.5 coins  monthly  Grin

What card are u using?
With that hashrate it's probably gtx 1060?

Released emerald-rs v0.21, a rustlang library for ETC Distributed as a Rust crate or can be embedded via foreign function interface (FFI).
For minimalistic CLI tool refer to Emerald-cli, or if you looking for a fully-featured UI online wallet, take a look at their Ethereum Classic Emerald Wallet https://crates.io/crates/emerald-rs

Nice websites but it's just a new version of etcdev website, there's no mention on IOHK and Ethereum Commonwealth. In my opinion it would be very important to inform people that there are three teams behind Ethereum Classic, since one of them (EC) is working on the Callisto sidechain and the other one is working on the Mantis client

Ethereum Classic (ETC) is currently in 3rd place with 80 votes
Only 5 days till voting ends!

https://www.cryptaldash.com/dash-market

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DZLm18_V4AAomfp.jpg:large

Without voting they can list in the exchange but why they are listing on the basis of voting. For that, we need to buy any crystal dash coins, how many coins are they paying for 1 ETH?

Openness of All Teams, very important to the world community. To have ETC holders know the ETC developer team. In addition we can socialize to the ETC Team to ask something important. It is also for the smooth progress of ETC development. If there is no society that supports ETC, ETC would be useless.

It is enough to study the coin itself, the upcoming events, the results of work recently, the quality of implementation and understand that we will see a good growth. You're right. Useful links.
We are waiting for the demand will grow and see a very interesting picture.

Near future, no. But if you think even a little about mid-term or long-term, then it has mostly been increasing in all these years. Moreover, recently, the news has started to revolve around once again that Ethereum is really going to turn to Proof-of-Stake soon, which will probably double or triple the ETC's difficulty. Of course it'll have a good impact on ETC's value as well, but then again, we've been hearing it for years that ETH is turning up to PoS, but it's not happening.

ETC can have an awesome future if DAO dumps all the ETC (will be bad for short-term though) and ETH turns PoS. Otherwise, it's gonna remain silent even during good pumps.

No it will not be difficult, BTC and ETC are in positive correlation and that means that they are having same-direction moves.

Dont really see it happening as more and more gpus are coming in to play and in to the mines, not to forget that when eth eventualy moves to pos that all those cards will probably end in etc.Short term we might see it going down a bit when monero fork happens and some miners switch thier rigs to it but long term the answer is no
