The coin is very promising and deserves to be in every wallet in good quantity. Since I'm a fan of ether, I also liked his fork. I think token still will show themselves in any time soon.

ETC is on block 5481001 at this post time.
The block mining rate varies wildly but March the 5th looks on target.
Just keep an eye on the block height!

ETC is a really good altcoin, after a long time existed in the cryptocurrency market, now it is still very well developed. I also invest a lot in ETC because I believe in 2018 with the cryptocurrency market, the ETC will also grow very strong. |

The price of ETC at the moment is not responding to the coming hard fork. Does it mean people are not that interested to the fork? Well, I am holding mine but I think having a hard fork will only make ETC price to drop down in the long run.

From a gain perspective I was hoping it would be, but bitcoin is teetering at the moment. Hence I think everyone is a little nervous about anything. A small gain would be more sustainable as ZCL is back to it's pre-hilke price now. If bitcoin gains confidence today and over the weekend we may see a rush on Monday. If other alt coins are also weaker then we may see a bigger rush but this is highly unlikely. Since the airdrop is scheduled for roughly midday Monday you could make your mind up in the morning. This is what I expect the market to execute so Monday will be a very interesting day from a price perspective. Let's discuss after the event ;-) |

I'm not 100% sure why but the airdrop has not be marketed. If you google the ETC airdrop there is very little information and it is quite confusing to the non technical. Whilst this may have been intentional the net result is that the airdrop is not clear to the masses. Hence you cannot be interested in something you have not seen or do not understand! |

I'm not 100% sure why but the airdrop has not be marketed. If you google the ETC airdrop there is very little information and it is quite confusing to the non technical. I once google it and found a link from a medium account (not so sure) but that was not an official announcement and part of the article was incorrect like "storing ETC in MEW to avail the hardfork" (which is not possible). Whatever is really happening, I will keep on holding my ETCs but I won't buy more now that there's this confusion and doubts. |

I just checked the Telegram channel and there is plenty of talk on the airdrop. This is main problem with Telegram channels they do not seem to be indexed by google. Hence we end up with all these silos. At the moment coins seem to be shunning bitcointalk because Telegram is hip and trendy. Rant over..... Also there is Telegram silo called Callisto.
