Î heard there would be an Ethereum classic hardfork, is that correct? Do you know if Exchanges like bittrex and binance are participating Yes it is correct. I posted a support request bittrex and binance. binance - awaiting reply. bittrex - answer "Julian Yap (Bittrex Support) Feb 9, 12:37 PST The "Callisto" ticker CLO ( https://forum.ethereumclassic.org/t/january-dev-update-commonwealth/404) proposed Ethereum Classic fork falls under this document with more details: https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001919932If Bittrex does not explicitly announce support for a promotion or coin feature in our Coin Information page ( https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/sections/203283828-Information), it is not supported. If Bittrex decides to support credits of coins for airdrops, giveaways, staking, forks or any other promotion or feature of a coin that provides additional coins, it will be announced and supported publicly. Please be aware that many airdrops and proposed forks are actually scams. In the future, if you would like to see a fork supported on Bittrex, encourage the dev team to fill out a New coin submission. Details: https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000475411Best Regards, " Wow, many thanks for sharing this, you saved me a lot of time! If you hear something from Binance please let us know it here What bittrex is stating exactly right because till now the coin which has value is BCH only? BCH issued the token to people who are holding the Bitcoin and trading very actively in the market and there are some other companies who have given Airdrop, sooner they went into the scam.

Are any developers leaving ETC for CLO?

ETC Devs should write to binance or bittrex to list the airdrop on their exchange
I think will be more better the airdrop coins on the official wallet of ethereum classic ETC than on the exchangers because of the risk losing the coins on there is high, here the explanation about the airdrop coins on ethereum classic ETC's platform, i think it is good knowledge for us about the airdrop. Callisto Network Airdrop | User Education & FAQ via Ethereum Commonwealth - What it is - How to claim CLO - FAQ Please Refer to These Guides! https:/[Suspicious link removed]/JS245k5znd & https:/[Suspicious link removed]/GT36B4dpvL I think will be more better the airdrop coins on binance or bittrex and the official wallet of ethereum classic ETC too. Because this will attract attention to the ETC, thousands of potential investors who have not previously paid attention to the project. The capitalization of the project will grow due to the attraction of new money. There will be an opportunity as well as developers to have additional funds for development + additional earnings for early investors who have been waiting for the growth of the price for ETC for a very long time. Answer from bittrex support : "In the future, if you would like to see a fork supported on Bittrex, encourage the dev team to fill out a New coin submission. Details: https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000475411 " If developers spend money on placing CLO and airdrop support by bittrex or binance, then these funds will return to you very quickly, as this news will attract attention and the infusion of new money by new investors. Capitalization and the price of the ETC will grow. For example, look at NXT and Ignis airdrop support by Bittrex, the price of NXT grew at 14x. I think the developers and investors were satisfied. Actually yes the best place for airdrop coins are on the official wallet of ETC and the exchangers too, but i don't think it is just about support from the community of ethereum classic to add the new coins on the exchangers, more than it there are factors technique of new coins and it will needs more time to the exchangers for add it, the other problem is the risk of losing the new coins always be there include hacking issues.

Hi guys,

Thanks a lot in advance
From ETC offical forum: It was decided to distribute the initial stake of CLO between current ETC holders. We will make a snapshot of ETC blockchain at block 5500000 (approximately 5 March, 2018. This depends on ETC block time and ETC hashrate changes). Then we implement the initial balance of each ETC holder in the Callisto network genesis block, so each ETC owner will receive CLO coins automatically in a 1:1 ratio to the amount of ETC that he had at block 5500000.
