ETC surprisingly made 34% of that vote between 14 other top coins, only behind BTC, ETH and then tied with monero, shows people have alot of confidence in etc

The price in USD is heavily dependent on the price of bitcoin and is somewhat irrelevant until ETC gets many more ETC/USD pairs, right now if you want to buy ETC in most cases you have to buy BTC first. ETC was around $45 when BTC was at an all time high.

What matters is price in bitcoin, and if you look at the chart its consolidated and gone sideways since the big pump back in the summer of 2017 (just like alot of other altcoins), so its fair to assume that ETC will follow suit of an altcoin pump in the future.

Like many others have said....it could potentially be a good buy at this price in btc. good luck, not financial advice. dyor

Right now most volume is on ETC/USDT on OKex and ETC/BTC on OKex, then you have ETC/USD and ETC/KRW. There was a time when biggest volume was on Bithumb on ETC/KRW btw. Just to say that ETC is mostly traded vs fiat but like ETH it fluctuates when BTC fluctuates, no matter how it's traded

Yes it is should gives impact on ETC's price to be rising due to many people who know about the ethereum classic, many people doesn't know that ETC is " the original Ethereum blockchain"
