So far, no God has been detected outside of human brains.

So far, absolutely nothing has been detected outside of human brains. [Any and all detection of all-that-is, is made by brains-in-bodies].

All of us are blessed with lots of beautiful things and moments each and every single day.

That's why miracles happen and people heal and why the prayer has so much power.
If you're claiming miracles happen, you also have to claim you know how everything in the universe works in order to call it a miracle.

It's a miracle that you can even finish eating that whatever-it-is in your avatar.

From Dictionary.com at http://www.dictionary.com/browse/miracle?s=t:
Quote
miracle
[mir-uh-kuh l]

noun
1. an effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause.

2. such an effect or event manifesting or considered as a work of God.

3. a wonder; marvel.

4. a wonderful or surpassing example of some quality:
a miracle of modern acoustics.

5. miracle play.

I'm agnostic. I believe that a god's existence and non-existence are exactly equiprobable. I cannot say for certain that a god does exist, and I cannot say for certain that a god does not exist. Therefor I'm bound by logic to assume that a god could possibly exist as much as a god could possibly not exist.

I do believe in God. All of us are blessed with lots of beautiful things and moments each and every single day. Someone is looking out for us. That's why miracles happen and people heal and why the prayer has so much power. This is all because of our heavenly father.

It's always individual persons (human beings) looking out for other individuals. There is nothing (no one) else.

See you don't understand human behaviour?..Why you ask..

For someone to say that a god could possibly exist you mean this..And you do even though you wont admit it?..

Your scared to die and hope another place to live?..
Or you think something god like must of made this universe and earth?..
Now when you say your logic?..If you used your logic how logic should be used it be very logical there be no god?..Very logical no god Wink..

You mention god because you been told stories of god?..
Then your mind can make up other stories how the universe come to be..
Lock you in a room from birth with no contact with the outside world would you even mention a god?..

Do you think it's logical for me to say if i clicked my fingers i could make you vanish?..
so what is the logical answer..I can or I cannot make you vanish with a click of my fingers?..

So what logic of there being a god?..

So you need some SPOCK LOGIC Wink..NOT BADLOGIC..

Sorry but I have no idea what you just tried to say.

He is basically saying where do you get the physical evidence to support 50% chance that God exist?
Please share it. I'm sure many scientists and engineers here would like to look at it.

God, unicorns, winged horses have pretty much the same probability of existence.

Thomas Huxley was an advocate of agnosticism, he coined the word. He was one of the first adherents to Darwin's theory of evolution and was a scientist, above all else. Allow me to quote him, it's one of my favorite quotes of all time.

Quote
In matters of the intellect, do not pretend that conclusions are certain which are not demonstrated or demonstrable. That I take to be the agnostic position, which if a man keep whole and undefiled, he shall not be ashamed to look the universe in the face, whatever the future may have in store for him.

The agnosticism he defined was a belief in the scientific method, and amounted to a form of demarcation. No objective testable evidence = a subjective unfalsifiable claim. You can believe in some sort of god or higher being, you can not believe in some sort of god or higher being, or you can take the agnostic position and understand that us humans can't, and possibly never will know the answers to these these questions.

No your wrong sir..

humans can't, and possibly never will know the answers to these these questions.

We humans will know the answer how it all began  Wink..We will understand so much we will make our own worlds Wink..

Have you ever got that feeling when you are asking yourself what's all about?..You feel a bit depressed?.
I am sure many humans have had that feeling..
Some people even kills them selves over it..
The big Question WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?..

Well listen to me young adults i will tell you what it is all about..

We as humans must live on FOREVER we have a fight for survival to save this earth or make another earth for our future children to live on..

With science and math our children can become the next generation of explorers..
Just look up at the night sky it's a universe waiting for us humans to explore..

We have not even moved?..
The universe is huge and it's waiting for us humans to fly amongst the stars and beyond..

What's it all about?..Were is my spaceship so me and my family can fly around the moon?..
And park it back up my own driveway..

A star is a sun we live around a sun?..Look up at the night sky and wonder..
I give you 1 of my wonders..

I imagine what if we got a rock? spin the rock the same speed as the earth and the same distance from the sun as the earth is i wonder what would happen?..
Would it gather up space dust and become bigger and end up like an earth?..

Now if i only ever put my face in a bible i would never be able to think of something like that for humans
to TRY Wink..

Spin a big rock at 1,040 mph same distance from the sun as earth..Lets see what would happen?..
Snowball affect?..We will never know till we try?..

Science will tell us everything and more Wink..NOT GODS Wink..

Lol, I think I know who is posting this kind of logic: @GMPoison. Why? Because I can recognize patterns quite well (usually). hahaha  Cheesy

btw, if there to be this...this....this "God" I would know myself. Nobody [can] deny me such a "Thing" ever. Why? Because I can recognize (my own) pattern.

Like I said before, it is foolish to assume you have all of the answers by claiming a god cannot possibly (not "does not") exist. Agnosticism isn't a lack of complete certainty, it is a complete lack of certainty. Honest people interested in the truth are not unwilling to edit their beliefs to align with the available evidence, and thus far you've yet to provide me any, whereas all I've provided you with are facts.

Quote
“Agnosticism is of the essence of science, whether ancient or modern. It simply means that a man shall not say he knows or believes that which he has no scientific grounds for professing to know or believe.” ~ Thomas Huxley, 1884

Like I said before, it is foolish to assume you have all of the answers by claiming a god cannot possibly (not "does not") exist.

You use no logic Wink..What you just said your basically saying something made all this?..

So who made god?.. Mummy and daddy god?..

Therefor I'm bound by logic to assume that a god could possibly exist as much as a god could possibly not exist.. Roll Eyes

So what's with the 50/50.. A GOD Huh..

You need some SPOCK LOGIC Wink..Not BADLOGIC  Grin

That position is as good as a religious cop-out.  "Something is unknown, I don't understand it (or never will), let's just say God did so that we don't have to worry about it."

If all of us were like that we'd still be burning witches....

Burning witches is wrong. We should put them into insane asylums, and give them electric shock treatment. And everyone who follows them as well.

But, if you determine that anyone is a witch, and you are wrong about it, you get the punishment that a witch would have gotten.

Are you insane?  You believe witches are real?   The poor, old ladies who lived alone, used herbs to heal themselves?
What kind of twisted deceiver are you? It doesn't matter what I believe. If you can't find any witches, you can't put them in jail, right? Are you out hunting witches?

They were accused of 'witchcraft' because they saw what the religion really was and skipped few masses.
Witchcraft is a religion, no matter how simple it might be.

Didn't you see the rest of my post? Anybody who causes a person to receive the punishment for witches, when that person is NOT a witch, the accuser should be punished with the punishment for witches himself.

Witchcraft, hell, heaven and of course God are imaginary concepts.  I hope you realize this after pages and pages of arguments.
Since science proves God, and God tells us about the other, the only imaginary concept here is your idea of imaginary concepts.

Did you read on how science is done?  How scientific proofs are validated, invalidated and re-checked (constantly)?
Did you ever get into the language of what science theory is? If you did, you would see that science theory is something that is not know to be factual.

Please stop this insanity, get yourself out of this cult.
Exactly what I have been suggesting to you for a long time now.

World is not 6000 years old, flood could not happen, we are not a product of 100 generations of incest.
Instead, the world is 14+ billions years old, Earth is 4.5 billion years old, we a product of billions of years of evolution.
We are mammals, we are all decedents of apes.   Evolution is indisputable fact.

Since you know so much, grow yourself another arm or leg. Live for a thousand years. Heal the sick by a touch of your hand. Or at least find all kinds of medical remedies that really work. After all, you know exactly how it all works. Because you know just exactly what could happen and what couldn't. And you were there in the beginning of the world, so you know exactly how old it is.

You dummy. You know essentially nothing. And the little bit you DO know, like how to post in a forum, you use to spread your stupidity.

Are we having fun yet?
