I'm just here to boost my post-count to overcome newbie status.  I'm a miner just like most everyone else here.  'Nuff said.

It is right when you sign up... Smiley

I'm glad the summer heat is done. I've boxed up the AC's and just put a single box fan in the window, and now my mining room is freezing cold.

¡Hello!
I'm also new. I have started on BTC a month ago. I used Bitcoin Faucet a week ago, but I didn't know that I can see the transfer until BTC program downloads all blocks. Yesterday, I have downloaded all blocks, and now I have seen my 0.005 BTC. Smiley

Now, I'm thinking how to start a little BTC business. Maybe a virtual image optimization shop? There are lots of PNG files that could be sized down, and reduce the server traffic usage. This could be a way to earn some BTC cents more.

It would be nice to add an optional cash sound when a income transfer is confirmed by at least a certain number of users.

hello i have been lurking here for a while and a bit before the site was hacked i had a few posts and also introduced myself at that time. i am basically a small time miner 140 mh at the moment i had upgraded to a 5870 but it was running to hot for my liking and i sold it thinking i would buy a new card at at least get a warranty for replacement if the card burns out . so mostly i am interested in mining related topics as i plan on doing this for as long as bitcoins are around ....hopefully from here on in. and over time i will upgrade my miner and add one or two more...

Be careful with your hardware, mining is not all in Bitcoin world.

 Hello,

I'm new new to Bitcoin and just started to go deeper. I had a lot of difficulty understanding the newbie restrictions.....

I got my first 4 BTC via VirWox since I don't have any mining capability.

Regards,,,,

 Hello,

I'm Khalid.  Smiley

I'm probably the first person in Saudi Arabia to know and buy a BitCoin. I've been an advocate for sound money such as Gold and Silver.

I've been reading about Bitcoin since June but got deeply involved since the last two weeks. My first Bitcoins were via VirWox.com sine I had to pay via PayPal/SLL ...etc and there's no one around to exchange cash with not I have any mining power.

I also ordered some 'CASASCIUS' coins and some BIT cards from global std bank. Let's seee where the current price drop goes Sad

 Huh

Cheers from the Arabian gulf Smiley

Fantastic!  It's great to see someone from Saudi Arabia on board.  It's been interesting to see the push in some Muslim countries (Such as Malaysia and Indonesia) for gold and silver currencies based on the ancient Islamic units of the dinar and dirham.  It's a good push back against the global fiat currencies which are looking more and more weak.
