My introduction--and posting toward my 5 minimum.  My name is Dennis Wilson and I have a CafePress shop (see below) and have added several popular Bitcoin images to the numerous items offered by CafePress (including iPad and iPhone covers and messenger bags that are great for carrying laptops and tablets  Smiley ).

I used to accept payments in eGold before they got shut down by you-know-who. I am working on accepting payments using Bitcoins (CafePress does not accept them directly, but I will use a method similar to what I developed for eGold payments). I am very enthused about the peer-to-peer nature of Bitcoins--way far superior to eGold and the other electronic systems.

I hope you will browse thru my shop. If you like Bitcoins, you will probably find many other images in my shop that express your views.

Here is a repeat of my posting under Bitcoin Businesses:

p2k - the one and only. Badass coder in several programming languages and for several platforms. Wannabe demosceener. Always moving with the bleeding edge in software engineering, never stopping, never giving up.

Now about to conquer Bitcoin with my skills. Already contributed quite some work to the Bitcoin Qt GUI last month (OS X support and deployment). After hitting 5 posts, I will announce my new pool software for which I've spent about 300 hours of work.

Welcome a'board P2K, you sound like you're coming late to the party, but 300 hours deep in a project?  That sounds like something to be excited about!

If I had known about the newbie rule when I first started reading, and before I created a userid, I coulda been a free postin' noob by now, at least in the time department.

Ah well, the education Zed continues.

Hey Nasdaq ,

How cool that you replyd to me.
But your message is too long and too intellectual for me to counter-reply you.
It was like youre drifting away on a cloud, lurking a pipe while you replyd, its too dreamy.

Afair ? Could have used another word, i saw that word in another forum, i thought hey lets use that word.
First word that came up to me.

I dont know what the hell youre saying.

Protecting from counterfeiting, but you pay too high electricity bills. Just to protect ?
It costs you money, than why would you do it ?
Its unsafe, its been hacked right ? several times.

Let me brake it down for ya ;

Its a hobby for you ! Admit it, its a hobby for everyone that uses Bitcoin.
You still have to get up and go to work, you cant make a living out of it !

You can not earn 2000 usd per month for 8 hours a day running your cards ( excluding weekends ), think about electricity costs.

Tell me honest Nasdaq, what do you have on the side ?
A job welfare, any form of other income.
Sure you can use roebels and yens to pay in a UK supermarket, you just have to exchange them for pounds.

I know what youre thinking, you can exchange Bitcoins ..... ladi ladi la
Bitcoins is for young internet people, its not accepted by general world population.
No one knows Bitcoins, small percentage of people who have too much free time on their hands.

How are you gonna exchange Bitcoins for pounds, takes too much effort, why would you do so much effort.
Youre probably the occupy stuff you know, you dont use because its clever.
You just want to make protest, youre probably poor, hate rich people etc etc.
Its an US thing, US is not the world, Europe, Brasil everything is thriving there, well Europe has a some clash but nothing too serious.
China.

Youre unlucky that you live in the US, theyre cutting back on everything there.

ps.

You caught me while im just awake, so im dreamy too, forgive me my dear intellectual friend.
Ill come back at you with full intellectual power.

Yep, I'm really a bit late but I also wanted to keep it secret and just surprise and blow down everyone with a full product Cheesy

I know, "He that praises himself spatters himself", but I believe it is pretty awesome and not to be sneezed at; a true alternative to existing solutions. Now that's my fifth post and soon my little speech will find its way to the Mining forum.

Edit: There it is!

Hello everyone,

My name is Arvis Lācis. I'm simple student (18 years old) from Latvia (it's a small country in the North-East Europe near the Baltic Sea and Russia). In my spare time I'm programming and also translating software. Of course, I'm also blogging - http://varddienis.blogspot.com - my Latvian blog, and exploring many other thing connected with IT - social networks, gadgets. Some days ago I found out Bitcoin so I'm there. Smiley

I would be happy for any donations to my Bitcoin: 1Pp5DMMAmXGDsFstsmiVc3Ghovu2k9GRRi

Hi everyone! I've been lurking for awhile now, and I figured it was time to make an account and participate. I am very excited about bitcoins - I believe they have the power to render central authority obsolete.

I am a computer programmer by trade. I'm working on a few interesting bitcoin related projects which will hopefully help bitcoin gain more widespread adoption.

Hi all! I'm very excited to get involved in the bitcoin community. Im an IT Support technician at a local university and have been mining with my Nvidia 9800GT. Needless to say, the 30Mh/s isn't cutting it. I have already scoped out a few cards here and there. Very impressed how large this community is considering i've never heard of bitcoins before last month.
