I'm new to the site, obviously, trying to find information on cg miner because my cards are underperforming terribly under guiminer. No one can seem to fix it. And I decided to come here, and I can't post.. WTF is up with that. I have 7 high end amd gpus. For an example. 7970s only getting 400khash on litecoin mines. Hopefully I find out how to get out of the bubble and find help. Coins will be given.

Hi all,

I've been browsing the forums for quite a while now and thought I'd finally register. I'll freely admit I'm a latecomer to the bitcoin craze but I'm interested in contributing to the community now. I've got a Comp Eng background so potentially hoping to help out with some Custom Hardware.

Hi hercules, make sure you use cgminer with the correct parameters (see https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin/wiki/Mining-hardware-comparison). Also, I think it's better to use an old version of amd APP SDK (try 2.4). Newer versions were known to cause problems. See cgminer README file.

thanks I had someone help and they didn't achieve anything, including writing my bat file. I made a newbie post on it. My parameters are set, and clocks are good. Something about litecoins just does not like me.
I had no issues with bitcoins

I'm getting into mining Bitcoin, Litecoin, and BBQCoin. CPU mined Bitcoin a couple years back but now I'm interested in how it has grown.

Hi,

I've just got into bitcoin recently and then shortly after discovered Litecoin.

I am involved in renewable energy and sustainability and am interested in alternative currencies because of their divergence from the conventional growth based economy.

I have recently been working on a local sustainability cooperative in Surrey, called Egham Sustainability - www.eghamsus.co.uk

The first part of the Egham project is a food cooperative and I'm hoping to be selling wholefoods for BTC and LTC.

Also in the same town is someone who has worked on a local currency/mutual credit scheme called Favabank - www.favabank.co.uk

Looking forward to setting up a hub of alternative economic activity and integrating cryptocurrencies into these wider ideas.
