hey all whats up. new to the bitcoin scene as a miner. ive been watching the progress on this new commodity since 2010-11 and am now financially able to start putting together mining hardware. let the bit minting begin..... mwa hahahahaha. but seriously, im mitsanaga. and to be clear, im the only mitsanaga on the internet to the extent of my knowledge. so don't be afraid to say hi if you see me elsewhere. if its not me you end up talking to, let that person know that "their" name is already taken. (literally. i plan on buying the rights to the name... lol... maybe not, but i think most who read this post will understand what i mean)

Hello There!
I am an electronic engineer with long experience in the design and manufacturing of advanced electronic circuits and PCB manufacturing.
Previously I was thinking in designing my own ASIC chips for Bitcoin mining when Avalon decided to sell batch of chips and decided to make a shot at this, and postponing my previous thoughts.
Planning in buying a full batch of 10,000 chips as soon as I can put the money together.
I also can offer to manufacture the boards for the people that are buying chips but are unable to assemble them in working boards. I will provide the printed circuit boards and all the additional components to make the boards functional. Will deliver working and tested boards in return for a fee (over the cost of ordering the PCB and the components, assembling and testing).
More information as soon as Avalon makes available its reference design.

I've recently started mining LTC just to get some sort of stake in the cryptocurrency scene. I look forward to watching the charts with everyone else and speculating on where this technology will be in the future. I've certainly read more about economics and the modern banking system in the past week than I have in my entire life.

Hi, been watching Bitcoin raise it's head since almost it's beginning but never actually participated, only followed news etc.
Now wetting my finger with these crypto-currencys mostly LTC for now till I understand all the ins and outs of mining, then might invest in some worthy hardware...

Any other newbies using FPGAs? I have not used python, and starting to realize this may be required.

Do you have much experience with FPGAs? Unfortunately there is a lot of Verilog code, which i can understand, but I have used VHDL since i started.

Newfriend here, but have been mining a little, and have exchanged quite a lot in BTC (over 150 BTC).
I'm currently starting fresh, as that 150+ BTC was exchanged as currency last year.
