Sad I lost 1.3 ANS when sending from bittrex. Both times .65ANS after the TX fee of .35 ANS was deducted.  Sad 2 ANS worth $16 lost while sending it to the wallet.
Sad . I am so angry with the ANS team for the way they made it.
I like how WAVES has a transaction fee of 0.001 Waves and it is so fast.

I sent 83 ANS to the web wallet and again sent 38 ANS to the same wallet. Both transactions had a fee of 0.35 ANS. So my total ANS in the wallet had to be 120.3
but it only shows 119 ANS. Its like I lost .65 ANS in the first transaction and .65 lost in the second transaction. Can someone explain please and how i can get them back. I used my money to buy them and dont want to lose $10 worth of coins. Sad Sad

Yes you have lost them permanently because the ANS wallet only supports whole integer units. So if withdrawing from Bittrex for instance always withdraw x.35, for example 105.35.
Yea it sucks and I got burned once on this as well and lost some ANS. At least the withdrawl fee is .35 now, it used to be 1 ANS.

is it worth waiting for new neo wallet to become available before transferring ANT shares from Bittrex ?

Can you create an offline wallet on windows then transfer coins to it  and still keep claiming antcoins
on the desktop without having to reimport the wallet ?

At least the good news is that Binance, the new exchange on which NEO will be traded will not be charging transaction fees for the time being. Binance is also willing to look into adding ANC/GAS to the exchange if there is enough demand for it and they are also looking into distributing the ANC/GAS to the owners, whilst still being held at the exchange. Of course the latter will still take time, but with all those advantages there will be no need use Bittrex ever again unless they finally decide to implement the same.

Antcoins are the best buy in crypto now.

only 16 million coins will be issued in the first year. So when we have rebranding to Neo Shares and Neocoins and they hit bittrex the market cap for neocoins now ANC will be very low. Current price is 1.75$ on 19800.com (chinese exchange). That would mean for a whole year the market cap of potential chinese ethereum is less than 30 million. I can see it easy being 300 million cap so 17.5$ is a good target price for neocoins while neoshares will go to 100$. By year 4 neocoins (now ANC) will reach total coin supply of 50 million, assuming a 5$ billion cap by then that would make neocoins 100$, within 22 years it will finally hit its total supply of 100 million neocoins. So yes the first year total supply of 16 million is very low and it should skyrocket as more great news about NEO in China is released.

Even price are lower now in comparison to where this was few days ago. I think it may be good chance to buy as market seems to be in recovery mode and it has climbed up with some percentage of declined in past 2 days. You are going to be in win win situation after buying like me little more.

Ok, while this may be profitable, it seems very risky. ANS alone is is still be developed and how ANC will be valued is complete speculation at this point. I am happy earning ANC and will keep it tucked away. Of course if ANC gets crazy in price I make take some profits.

Yes I am bit confused too. Can I depost the ANS from bittrex to the wallet from antshares.org or can I use the Neo wallet from neo.org already? Will there be a conflict, will Neo wallet reconize ANS? And after re branding, do I need to download another newer wallet?

You do not have to do anything for the switchover, but you might want to download the new client version on the 24th of July. That is all there is to it. So you can safely deposit ANS in your Antshares wallet.

I would however be careful with ANT as that is an entirely different cryptocurrency, so it is best not to even mention those letters. There is only ANS and ANC at the moment and they should become NEO and GAS respectively on the 24th of July according to my information.

ANT is the symbol of Aragon. You are looking for ANC aka AntCoin. ANC can only be bought at the 19800 exchange in China for the moment (but Binance will most likely also add it in the future): https://www.19800.com/market/cny_anc/

Personally I prefer to buy ANS over ANC.

I downloaded the client from https://www.antshares.org/Download and have successfully synced the blockchain. Also created a new wallet database, but now I have some questions.

- When creating a new wallet db, where is the appropriate folder to save the wallet file? I created the wallet db with a strong pw and currently have it saved in the Local\Antshares\ folder, along with the user.config file

- Which file(s) require a backup to restore my wallet?

- Is staking AntCoins as simple as sending ANS to the address I just created or is it more complicated?

Generally, I'd just experiment and find the answers to my own questions, but I don't want to send too many test transactions at 0.35ANS a pop. Experimentation is too expensive Smiley

Thanks in advance for the assistance!!

Just 'bumping' clovis' questions, since I have the same ones and, as he says, 0.35 ANS is expensive. Are there any clear English resources out there that explain staking ANS for ANC, etc.? I've looked but been unsuccessful so far at finding any. Sorry if I've just missed something!
