price falling down continuously and there is not enough buy support.... only 430 btc buy support, whats going on?

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Newb here, just got a question about wallets.
I created a webwallet and backed everything up. Then I see flipflopped opinions on whether Antcoins actually accrue from the web wallet, so I decided to DL the windows core client wallet. I was expecting to restore the address I created in my web wallet on the Antshares windows wallet, but instead it's essentially making me create a separate address for the windows wallet.
is this normal that your web wallet address can only be used for the web, and windows address can only be used for Windows system, or am I missing something?

BFT Consensus can not support a large scale nodes, you are wrong.
it can never be decentralized like bitcoin and Ethereum..
it's more like a centralized network.
then why you buy some data from a centralized network?

Even the first sentence of the ANS whitepaper makes clear that it is decentralised. The current layout supports a theoretical maximum of 10000 Bookkeeping nodes. Every ANS represents a vote. We can make decisions about the system itself just fine. Enjoy your Bitcoin and Ethereum. Bitcoin will probably use as much electricity as Denmark by 2020 and both Ethereum and Bitcoin cannot handle truly vast transaction flows. Also enjoy your forking potential and the One Man bookkeeping limitations that both systems provide. You stick to Bitcoin and Ethereum and I will stick to ANS and we will see what is more successful in the long run. How is that for a deal? Are Bitcoin and Ethereum more decentralised? Yes, but that comes at the cost of vast energy expense, inefficiency and speed. A single bitcoin transaction uses as much energy as almost four households use for a day. You might call that great. I call that bad design. I am fine with agreeing to disagree. The markets will speak for themselves. everyone just saying they are better than BTC. yes, you are right, you can have a lot SPV wallet or so called bookkeeping nodes, but you do not have the right to be a full nodes, you just listen what the validation nodes tell you.

Bitcoin is bitcoin, Ethereum will be Ethereum. You obviously did not notice that at https://www.antshares.org/ the number of FULL NODES at this point is 417. I think the only requirement to become a full node is having 10,000 ANS and running the proper Linux system whilst meeting all technical specifications. Everyone else who runs it is in effect a light node. If you read the network protocol ( https://github.com/AntShares/AntShares/wiki/Network-Protocol), you will see that ANS holders can vote on validator candidates and it can be increased to a maximum of 1024. Validator candidates can be accepted, rejected or revoked. This is a continuous process. Let's give another example: Does a Presidential candidate run the country? No, it is a candidate who can be elected by others. That is the same with the validator candidates you are referring to. If you noticed carefully, 7 are effective and 1 was revoked. This appears to be an old list for selecting candidates. The number that matters is the 417 FULL NODES. This number is increasingly rapidly in the last few days. Contrary to Bitcoin ANS holders get to vote on which parties they trust to run the system. no, i think the things matter is validation nodes, if this 8 validations node went down, this system worth nothing that's the reason why i say this will never become a currency.. just a hype.
but it's doesn't matter stupid people will buy this.and price will still go up .. seems no one want to answer this question? |

Hi, I am hoping someone can direct me towards obtaining my antshares.
I participated in the ICO, I have downloaded and synced the GUI (windows), I then created a wallet with my private key (from the ICO), but no ants were attributed.
I then went to verify my address at the ICO website and it shows the ants are there. I then confirmed my key and the website said to wait up to a week.
A week has passed and there are still no ANS on my GUI.
Any help would be much appreciated

So you apparently have claimed your Antshares on the ICO website. These ANS will be sent to your address manually by someone from the Antshares team, experience has shown that people experienced delays with that. By the way, just to be sure that the issue is not with the wallet, you can check your address on antcha.in. Have you tried contacting Antshares through Bitcointalk, Wechat, Slack or email? |

Where will be used ANC those coins we received as reward for holding in wallet Antshares / I found out that Antshares is being re-branded into Neox something like that. Will there be any place in new project for those coins and they will never be used anymore ? I need to read a lot to reach at proper and updated information.

I should agree with you. Price has enough supprot atm, started to climb. Now, it whether keeps slow climbing back to highs or crashes further to 0.0017 btc/ans... Then the same again. |

China Central Bank vows to push for Block-Chain in Five year plan. I just got word that they finished testing Antshares which has been rebranded to NEO. Sky is the limit right now for this coin.

This may be apparently cause of recent increase at exchanges like Bittrex after decline. What is happening need clarity for new people to decide whether the time is suitable to enter or not yet. It is NEO now or hoe this re-branding will take place. many things need to be more clearly explained.
