Hi, I am hoping someone can direct me towards obtaining my antshares.

I participated in the ICO, I have downloaded and synced the GUI (windows), I then created a wallet with my private key (from the ICO), but no ants were attributed.

I then went to verify my address at the ICO website and it shows the ants are there. I then confirmed my key and the website said to wait up to a week.

A week has passed and there are still no ANS on my GUI.

Any help would be much appreciated

So you apparently have claimed your Antshares on the ICO website. These ANS will be sent to your address manually by someone from the Antshares team, experience has shown that people experienced delays with that. By the way, just to be sure that the issue is not with the wallet, you can check your address on antcha.in. Have you tried contacting Antshares through Bitcointalk, Wechat, Slack or email?

Thanks for your advice

My ants showed up after I went to the website you directed me to

I see it more at 100$ next year.  The potential is there if China Government steps in.

I almost find this amusing. I have waited about 4 weeks now from the first attempt claiming the antshares on their ICO page.

I saw this post and thought I would give it a try using antcha.in, but once again Antshares disappoints...

No matter what you click,  all pages gives this message:

Mysql2::Error

As of today, after sending 3 emails and a post here some days ago, still not a word from anyone.

How can anyone believe or trust a company that continuously ignores emails and treats people with such misgiving support??? I just don't get it.

Anyone willing to answer before I go public with this?

ITO the wallet instructions on newbium:

"2. fill the form

-wallet file : klik browse and choose the folder for save and creat your first address. (i think the file include with back up/private key)."

There is no wallet file in any of the files when downloading the wallet. Can you explain where this can be located or how I can create a wallet file? There are no instructions for this issue..

There is indeed no wallet to be selected. All you have to do is type the name you would like the wallet to have and select in which folder it should be located and then that wallet file will be created.

Give a purse, please, where and how it can be downloaded ??

You can download various wallets here:

Antshares is going to be huge. Currently it is only traded on Bittrex in Western markets. The other exchanges can only ignore this kind of volume for so long. I assume once antshares is completely rebranded as NEO in Q3 this will be when more exchanges like POLO add antshares/neo, and then, BOOM.

I have some old ANTCOINS which is continously staking until now for months now. Is there any way to have at least worth from it?

I know ANTCOINS are linked to ANTSHARES but I don't have idea how the system is going on.

I downloaded the windows GUI but the "AntSharesUI.exe" is being detected as virus (IDP.Generic) from Avast. Anybody here with similar experience?

Hmmm....I am using the Avast anti-virus scanner myself, but it did not indicate it to be a virus in my case as far as I remember. Virus scanners generally work on probabilities and are thereby subject to false positives (flagging a file as virus when it is not). As long as you got the files from the official Antshares / NEO website it should be fine. Never install it unless you got it from the official websites.

Yeah its from the official website. I just downloaded it again to be sure. A bit strange tho that the download of 4mb takes like 5 minutes.

When I check the zip file and the extracted folder nothing is found by Avast but when I click on the AntSharesUI.exe it gets immediately blocked and removed. I am bit worried as I never had such problems with any wallet before. Maybe anybody here with some deeper knowledge about such things?

If you got it from the official website you have nothing to worry about. It is called a false positive in statistics. A virus scanner is not 100% accurate in locating all viruses and works with certain odds that if something looks like a potential virus then it could be classified as a virus. Some virus scanners classify a lot of safe files as viruses (including real and harmless files) and thereby ruin the stability of your operating system by quarantining or deleted harmless files. Other virus scanners do not catch enough viruses and thereby compromise your system in that way. Virus scanner companies have to make a choice in that regard. So just because a virus scanner states that it detects a potential virus, does not have to mean that there is an actual virus. You can see the same in the medical industry with false positives in regards to HIV.....just because a test turns out that way, does not necessarily imply they actually have HIV. Virus scanner software is not perfect. It needs to be preemptive in certain regards and thereby develops smart detection systems that locate new 'potential' threats before everyone's computer is compromised. If virus scanners did not have some kind of active defence against new and unknown viruses, then they would largely be useless. If you do not believe me, you can look up the term 'false positives' in regards to virus scanners. Nowadays everything works relatively fine with virus scanners (also thanks to better insight into trusted sources)....you would not believe how terrible some virus scanners were about 14 years ago....some classified just about everything as a virus when they were in actuality all false positives which was more disastrous than a virus scanner which detected not enough viruses.

Thanks for your answer!

I think those ANC may be worth $.75 now or so, but may be much more valuable in the future. More info: https://www.reddit.com/r/Antshares/comments/6j2zw5/everything_you_need_to_know_antshares_vs_antcoins/

how come withdrawing from Bittrex is so expensive... is this gonna change... I only have 10 ANS and to sacrifice 1 just to get them off seems like a scam... is this gonna be adressed or fixed soon?

thanks

Bittrex has a monopoly in the Western markets currently, so Bittrex charges whatever it likes. A new international trading platform called Binance should go live on the 15th of July and it will list ANS/NEO and it has setup a new way of making transaction payments which will circumvent this. Once the rebranding is complete it is very likely that Poloniex will also add ANS/NEO to its platform, so perhaps Bittrex will start to behave at that point. Technically it will have to if it prefers to keep a significant part of its volume.

Anyone know how to contact anyone that works for Antshare?  I tried the website, but found nothing that looked like a support page or section!!!
I would really like to know if they are developing a wallet for Linux, or are my Shares stuck on the exchange gaining coins for them instead of me!!

You should still be able to run the Windows wallet via Linux by using the Virtual Machine or maybe WINE. At least others have done so successfully.
