Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

It will be great to see Pascal coin in Bittrex or Poloniex and how the accounts question will be managed because there is actually 77890 accounts created with these 15578 blocks mined. Will Pascal coin be limited by these numbers? More to see in the near future  This question is still my biggest concern regarding getting added to an exchange. i doubt we will be seeing it on a exchange any time soon until then coin count goes up. a few months down the line maybe |

When you go to tab "Blockchain explorer" which is the highest block do you see?
Perhaps restarting application will help... you will not loose downloaded blockchain
