There will be alts that pump really hard and make people millionaires, but no alt is going to surpass Bitcoin's strength and solidity. No coin will get a bigger marketcap. Is still has a lot of competition in terms of technology and scalability but then Bitcoin has the first mover advantage that's why many people are making it as their first choice when they buy cryptocurrency and the most famous as well.Iy may have reign for a decade but there is still a possibility that a coin that had a better technology would be able to get it's position in due time as long as it is supported by its community.
