Yes, most cloud mining was a scam so avoid it and be careful on where investing your capital. It is still much better to invest bitcoin and buy altcoins that are legit and potential to trade in in the market. And try to do some in trade in bittrex and poloniex.

Well that's always happening when the price of bitcoin is dumping, in opposite action the alt coins price is pumping. Though holding is still recommendable.

Huge profits in a very short time do seem somewhat fishy. However I do agree that many altcoins do have potential to give profits but they wont be doing so in the long run like bitcoin. If you want to make money from altcoin trading, try mining them and the dumping them. However be careful of what altcoin you invest into since there have been many ICO scams in the past as well.

It can be seen in Yobit. They have been accepting any altcoin that would just pay them for registration but if you look at deep within there are too many altcoins rhat dont have a value anymore. This investments is riskier than the risk we have once we bought bitcoin.
Somehow they can victim newbies with that technique.

Yobit is an exchange pointed at noobs. I would never ever make use of an exchange like that. 1) most of their coin volumes are fake, and 2) you pointed it out as well, their "business model" is to earn from shit coins getting listed to their exchange for a certain fee. I understand that they are looking to make profits, nothing wrong with that, but why at cost of people that sign up to their exchange? Noobs obviously lack common sense and knowledge in relation to crypto, and thus they invest with full believe in one of these shitcoins, where they end up losing big time. There are more altcoin exchanges that do this. Yobit is definitely not the only one.

Cloud mining was profitable at one time when they firms were legit mining farms and with proper equipment and facilities. However as the difficulty rose and mining fees halved, they have turned to scamming people by running fake ponzi schemes.

It is difficult to understand which altcoin is legit before trading in it or making any investment based on it. However you can check the past market analysis to get an idea about worthy coins.

I have invested my BTC to MAID.


MAID has a good chart formation now as MACD crossed already with a bullish bias


Buy MAID in the meantime then sell it before the bitcoin fork.
