I've been lurking for a while. I love the community and I come on this forums almost every day even though my log will show not show this because I'm usually not log in. I know more than enough to be considered myself a Newbie. I bought myself an ASIC miner (bASIC) before getting a refund just to prove that I'm a serious person. I'm from a YouTube channel, Truthloader and tonight at 7PM GMT we're holding a live debate with Gavin Andresen, Birgitta Jonsdottir and other guests. The topic: "Can we govern ourselves with digital technology?" I wanted to post about this somewhere so that members of the bitcoin forum were aware of the debate and came to watch. It will be streamed live this evening so I will make various posts and remain online but I wondered if it was possible that I would be allowed to post about this debate before the time restriction for newbies? Hi, well firstly I guess I should introduce myself, My name is Jack and I currently own 5BTC and have recently been doing a lot of in depth reading into Bitcoins - This forum has been a great source for knowledge so i decided to sign up. I shall be getting an ASIC asap (just a small one, Jalepeno from BFC if they ever ship) and doing some mining with that.

I dont really want to make 5 'useless' posts in the newbie section as I dont really have any newbie questions to ask (I read about all the basics).

The main reason I want to get let out into the wild is to respond to this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=139694.0 - I have produced some graphic designs for this - but currently cannot post them up.

I wont spam, but I am sure in time I will become an integrated member of the community.

I am a bitcoin day trader mostly using bitstamp as I like how the withdrawals and deposits are quick and the website doesn't have a lot of BS. Back in October when I started the price was around $12-13 iirc. I am not a spammer, simply trying to make some dwolla transfers as I also use that website but tend to avoid mtgox. Cheers

I love lurking, but I'm not a very active poster, at this forum or any forum. I've been lurking here for a while, and a lot longer on /r/bitcoin. I dont't need to get whitelisted asap, but it would be nice. I don't like the fact that I have to post sevral nonsense posts in this forum just to be allowed in the "big boys" forum.

I'm a poker player, and the main reason I would like to get accept is so I can have access to the gambling forum. Although it's definetly not important, I am certainly not a newbie either.
