Long time lurker, newly registered. I would like to be added to the whitelist because I have been mining with GPUs for about a year now, and I would like to keep up with the asics development.

Please add me to the whitelist. I would like to create the below topic in Technical Support section:

==============================================================================
Bitstamp API error: Missing user and/or password POST parameters
-----------------------

I am using Bitstamp API for a month already. Since yesterday I get random errors:

"Missing user and/or password POST parameters"

when retrieve balance and my active order list.

The error is really random. I run a loop and get 2 errors out of 1000 attempts to retrieve balance.

I had no such problem during last month. It just started yesterday.

I also sow this topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=117211.0 . It's not relevant to my problem unfortunatly.

Anyone having the same issue / knows how to resolve it?

Thank you.

I own gold. I own Bitcoins. Whether Bitcoins will be the defacto currency of the Internet remains to be seen. I plan to hedge my bets and invest in any peer-to-peer currency that seems to have potential.

So far the only candidate is Bitcoin. Silk Road is a demonstration of the potential of the currency. Thank you Satoshi.

I would like to get on the whitelist.  I've been interested in Bitcoin for almost a year.  I've been doing small transactions and small amounts of mining.  I'm very intrigued in bitcoin news and information for both ideological and financial reasons.  This board is very informative and I would love to be able to ask questions and contribute to conversations to build my understanding of where Bitcoin is going.

Thank you!

There has recently been an issue with the auto-unrestricting.  Don't worry, the capable mods will soon sort things out as they have been for others in this situation.  I'm still working on my 4 hours, but I'll gladly take an unrestriction before then Smiley

I am hoping to atleast have the ability to PM.  There is something for sale in the market that I am interested in buying.  I hope to PM the seller to see if it is still up for sale.  Thanks!

Hey guys,
Requesting to whitelist me.

I find myself able to answer many of these posts here, yet I can't due to this restriction.
Time wise - I am a newbie. But in the past two month I have opened a verified account in mgtox, also using Bitstamp and helping them translate their site to Hebrew.
Learned a lot about Bitcoin and am becoming an enthused.

I am also active in the Israeli Bitcoin Community.

Thank you

Hello,

I consider myself to be an active member of the bitcoin community since I attended the London Bitcoin Conference in mid-September 2012, where I made a few friends. I met a number of people there, including Max Keiser and Stacy Herbert, Mike Hearn, and many others. I also met Josh Zerlan from Butterfly Labs there, and shortly upon returning from the conference, I pre-ordered a "Single SC" from ButterFly Labs. As you probably know, these have still not been shipped yet, so in the mean time, I started mining using a GPU card, experimenting with GUIminer on Slush's pool and BTC Guild. I also invested in various shares and bonds through GLBSE, and later had to suffer the GLBSE closure, meaning that I had to chase my BTCs with a number of people. I managed to recover most of them, after exchanging a number of emails and PMs with the business owners. I since registered with Cryptostocks, BitFunder and BTC-TC, and invested some small monies in various businesses, mostly for fun and as an experiment.

I have also bought and read a couple of the Bitcoin magazine issues, I have spent quite some time reading various posts on this forum as well as on the Bitcoin StackExchange forum to keep myself updated and to gather more technical knowledge on bitcoin, although I haven't posted many replies yet, mostly because I didn't have a lot of original comments to make, that hadn't already been addressed by others.

Today, I'd like to be white-listed so I may participate in the "Ripple" alternate currency and receive free introductory XRPs as recently offered by OpenCoin (see  Alternate cryptocurrencies > Ripple Giveaway! for details.)

May I be allowed in?

Hello there!

I would like to be white-listed so I can get deeper into my research regarding BitMining and the hardware/software this process entails.

I'm very familiar with BTC and have been buying/trading the currency for several months now. I have several online wallets, a PC "safe" wallet, and often offer advice to noobies on other forums that also deal with BTC and the like.

Thank you for the consideration and for the great forum. Really looking forward to absorbing the tribal knowledge that I can tell is all OVER this forum Smiley

Cheers!!

Hello!

Please whitelist me. I would like to reply to the post "Are VIR loans any good?" of Ichtyo in forum "Bitcoin Forum > Bitcoin > Project Development > [BETA]Bitfinex - Meta-Exchange and margin trading" with this post:

---------

Hello,

Currently, I am providing about 9k of the active 65k USD loans on Bitfinex. Thus my interest in this matter.

I was surprised to read that VIRs are always preferred, even if there is a cheaper fixed rate available. Is this really true?
Please go forward with the idea that offers below VIR are accepted before the VIR.

For the lenders/borrowers I would like buttons 'cancel all borrow offers' and 'cancel all lend offers'

Also, I would appreciate a possibility to spread the funds to lend over a range of interest rates. Like: place 10 offers startAt=50% step=25% lendOfferSize=500USD
I realize that the current way the offer book is shown has problems with spreading the funds over a range of interest rates. If a lot of people do that, the page would become insanely long.
It might be better to show the market of offers in a compressed form like a distribution graph.

Thanks!
