I would like to be let in.

Reason? I am the current maintainer of bitcoin bindings for the Haskell programming language:

This is the best reason I've ever heard of! An incredible contribution to the Bitcoin and Haskell communities.

I would like to be whitelisted because I am here to go to the exchange section and buy bitcoins. I understand everything I need to know about it as far as I am aware, I can buy a lot of them and start an exchange service somewhere else on the internet.

I'd like to be let out of newbie jail.

I'm mining at 7 Gh/s and I want to talk with people who actually would care :-)

(With the Eligius and Eclipse pools using a BFL jally +2 unit. Running bfgminer... soon to be on a RasPi!)

I have been mining for a while, quietly.

But with the recent chip credit offer from BFL, I would like to be able to post my interest in MrTeal's group buy thread before it fills up: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=223335.0

So that I can take advantage of my existing BFL credits at full value.

I would like to request a whitelist if possible. I have been following and researching bitcoin for the last year, but only recently got into it. I'm still upset that I didn't buy the $100 of BTC that I almost did back in December!

Right now I'm playing around with some LTC and FTC mining just for fun, since I don't have the resources to dedicate hardware to a BTC pool.

I am having some trouble with the stratum proxy on a specific pool, but I'm still researching if it is just the pool or me.

Thank you.

Hi there.

I would like to be allowed in to the forum as I need some help regarding mining. I have read a lot of info in the mining forum but would like to ask some questions. I currently have a nVidia card and am looking at upgrading and thinking of going ATI for better mining potential.

I'm using GUIMiner alongside by bitcoin client at present and also need some help on selling my bitcoins once mined.

Regards,

bitcointraderuk.

I would like to discuss Terrahash's odd behavior in the Terrahash thread (before the pre-order opening tomorrow morning). I'm on the fence about ordering.

I've kept up with the thread since day one, but I've never had anything meaningful to contribute until now. Thanks for the consideration.

Please let me post in other threads.
I've been GPU mining since February and reading this forum occasionally for a few months.
I know enough about BTC and forum rules to get me started, and I really want to bid on a marketplace auction ending soon.

you should put it on top, or send it also in welcome email during registration, so that everybody knows it

If you have a need to be allowed into the forum beyond before you have completed the required 5 posts and 4 hours logged in, please post your request here. You must provide evidence that shows that you either understand more about Bitcoin than the average newbie, or that what you want to post can only be done in another forum. Reasons such as "I'm not a spammer" will be ignored. Try to be as specific as possible.

If you learned of Bitcoin through a currently established member of this forum who feels that you are ready to be released to the rest of the forum or who is willing to mentor you, or if you want to make a new account that is separate from your already-existing established forum account, have the existing user/account vouch for you after you have made your request.

If you are asking to be whitelisted because you are having a problem with something, we generally look more favorably on people who have already attempted to solve their issue in the Newbie board. Even if you end up not qualifying for preemptive whitelisting, your post might still qualify for being moved to another board if you have received insufficient help after a few hours.

Also:
- You must have made one post in order to send PMs.
- You need 10 posts to put a link in your signature.

Please note: If you see "Jr. Member" by your name, you have already met the 5 posts and 4 hour requirements and don't need to post here. Additionally, after you meet the requirements, it can take up to 10 minutes for your account to be automatically upgraded.
