I understand, but it seems there should be a better way - some sort of multiple authentication - that can applied.

I agree with others that it's sensible but annoying.

Understandable, but slightly tedious having to make random (useless) posts  Wink

I've been looking for a way how to reply from a psot since yesterday.  Thanks, I ended up on this thread.  Now I knew I'm a newbie.  It seemed I am not the only one.  Smiley

I will trade Bitcoins at eToro soon.

I'm guessing it takes a while to get a white listing, so best to go through the newbie restrictions rather than wait for a white listing?

These restrictions were added after I had first joined the board, so I never got the instructions when I first signed up... Spent hours trying to figure out why I could no longer post...

Restrictions sound reasonable, I hate all forms of spam, and trolling is the lowest form.

Posted a request for preemptive whitelisting but still nothing. Any1 know how long it usually takes? Seems the only way is to post several posts and get the status required.  Undecided

Very sensible. Does the Technical Support Forum get trolled a lot? If not it would be handy to have it open.

Good point, if somebody has a problem and they have to wait 4 hours that could seem an awful long time.

I don't think this site has any more civility than most, but I guess the spam does seem to be absent here. Cool
