How about an optional, nominal btc donation to skip the hazing
Sure it would be an interesting idea since users able to donate could be considered as not so beginners  Not a bad idea, though the restrictions aren't too bad. It's only reasonable to ask that of newbie members, as many new to Bitcoin may be new to forums and the appropriate way to utilize that forum. +1 for the option to donate though. //zzzzzz |

I'm sure this has been brought up before but the four hours online requirement makes zero sense. All that does is encourage people to set the logout timer to one day and leave the forum in an open thread of their browser for four hours unless there's some other check to make sure people are actually active. Raising it to something like 24 hours since account creation and 15 posts would make a lot more sense.

While i understand why this restrictions was made, i would like to also point out, that it forces people to spam useless posts in newbie area just to be able to post elsewhere.
